How could you not have known that? That's why many refer to him as being "THE man".

Of course it doesn't "matter" where your ancestors got their genes but it's a fascinating thing to know about yourself. I'm sorry that you don't know such things but you don't need to disregard the entire practice of human genealogy. It's cool that you're a carefree American mutt but don't insult people who know their ethnic heritage. Familial genealogy is interesting - kinda like how human history is. Anyway, here are my insignificant, fucking retarded answers: 1. What's your favorite TV series? Alfred Hitchcock Presents 2. Beatles or Rolling Stones? Beatles 3. Who would you most like to see perform live in your lifetime? This one stripper in New Orleans who I already saw perform once. I can't remember her stage name but I know where she works. 4. Will you go out this weekend, and if so where? I went to school to construct a blank book. 5. Where does your family come from originally Scotland 50% Serbia 35% Italy (the southern part, pre-unification) 15% 6. Which do you value more, your vision or your hearing? Hearing

Oops, I did it again.
It's all truth though. Hopefully Mr. Dali will freebase my comments down to the point that they at least make sense even if he doesn't agree. And I chose hearing over vision because I think that hearing, touching, and smelling would suit me fine. My life may even be better if I hone those 3 more. If I could see but not hear, I expect I'd start to rely mostly on sight and miss out on all the other senses.

I understand that people are interested in their lineage, but I wasn't even addressing them. I think I was referring to people that wear this sort of thing like a badge of culture and pride, when in reality, they're all the same inside, just maybe with a few different genetic mutations that may or may not have completely become irrelevant to any sort of point about ethnicity. Obviously, it was an unwarranted rant of opportunity, which had no bearing on the people here. Pointless, yes. But did it feel good at the time? Probably. I couldn't remember if I tried. |
