1) Everyone usually asks who the one famous person is you’d love to meet. Who is the one famous person you never, ever in a million years want to meet?
Andy **** 2) What is worse…having expectations that are too high, or having no expectations at all? Having expectations that are too high. Being disappointed has to be one of the worst feelings ever. 3) Assuming reincarnation is real, what are you hoping to be in your next life? A dolphin 4) Do you suffer from a habit that you consider to be “bad”? Chronic nailbiting 5) If Superman subcontracted himself out, what would you have him do? My term papers 6) What's your favorite word? Quixotic |

1) What has inspired you recently?
The Spill Your Guts thread. 2) If aliens invaded the earth, would you run and hide or try to make friends? The military survivalist in me defaults to "find cover, arm yourself, maintain supplies, then make time for optimism". 3) What is the one thing you want to be remembered for after you’re gone? Nothing, unless it was something that would actually benefit the world, rather than a memory I won't be around to enjoy. 4) Where’d you go on your last road trip? Heh... does the local beer store count? 5) Post a website that you feel all of us need to check out. (Keep it clean y'all...remember the kiddies.) E-mails from an asshole 6) Paper or plastic? Not sure about the context of this question. Purchase methods? Bagging methods? I usually buy stuff with a debit card, not credit.. but it's plastic. As far as bagging, plastic is usually the only option. Um... I can't really think of any other scenario where this question applies to my life. |

1) What has inspired you recently?
My own head. 2) If aliens invaded the earth, would you run and hide or try to make friends? It would all depend on how they looked, and any information we had. I'd keep my distance for awhile, until things looked alright. Once I felt it was safe, I'd totally try to make some alien friends. 3) What is the one thing you want to be remembered for after you’re gone? Nothing in particular. Just me as a person. 4) Where’d you go on your last road trip? I've never been on one. 5) Post a website that you feel all of us need to check out. (Keep it clean y'all...remember the kiddies.) TheDieline.com - Package Design Blog 6) Paper or plastic? Always paper. Sometimes plastic. |

1) What has inspired you recently? This little girl: 2) If aliens invaded the earth, would you run and hide or try to make friends? I would bake them cupcakes and make them a mix CD... or something. 3) What is the one thing you want to be remembered for after you’re gone? Hopefully that I made some kind of a difference in people's lives, whether it be my students, or my own children, or my friends, family... 4) Where’d you go on your last road trip? The last proper road trip I went on was in New Zealand last year. Drove from the South to the North. And am gonna do it again in 2 months time 5) Post a website that you feel all of us need to check out. (Keep it clean y'all...remember the kiddies.) Objects that have faces. 6) Paper or plastic? Paper, mostly. |

1) What has inspired you recently?
I don't think anything has. 2) If aliens invaded the earth, would you run and hide or try to make friends? I'd bake them "special" brownies in hopes it would change their mind if they were planning on destroying the earth, if they were already good than I'd just introduce them to Pink Floyd. 3) What is the one thing you want to be remembered for after you’re gone? My unique weirdness. 4) Where’d you go on your last road trip? Indio, California to see the Big Four. 5) Post a website that you feel all of us need to check out. (Keep it clean y'all...remember the kiddies.) StumbleUpon.com ... but only if you have countless hours to spare a day because that's how much time this is going leech out of you. 6) Paper or plastic? What? Um, paper I guess, less noisy. |

I completely forgot about this thread, and I was the last person to post in it!
1) What has inspired you recently? My friends and family, as always. 2) If aliens invaded the earth, would you run and hide or try to make friends? Make friends, see how they are, and then possibly run and hide. 3) What is the one thing you want to be remembered for after you’re gone? Maybe that I made a difference in someone's life. 4) Where’d you go on your last road trip? Whitney, Ontario, to visit a friend. A town way North near Algonquin Park that has a population of about 1-2,000 people. The only way you can get there is by car and even that's not easy because there's only one small country highway and it's in **** condition. 5) Post a website that you feel all of us need to check out. (Keep it clean y'all...remember the kiddies.) I've got two websites for y'all: Awkward Family Photos (we've all got some, now it's time to share them!) and When Parents Text 6) Paper or plastic? Plastic is more durable and waterproof. |

1) What has inspired you recently?
Feeling helpless inspired me to write last week. 2) If aliens invaded the earth, would you run and hide or try to make friends? Make friends. 3) What is the one thing you want to be remembered for after you’re gone? Nothing, really. 4) Where’d you go on your last road trip? Columbia, SC or Charleston, SC 5) Post a website that you feel all of us need to check out. (Keep it clean y'all...remember the kiddies.) Red Meat - from the secret files of Max Cannon A comic series I visit when I need a laugh. It used to be really good, but recently has been hit or miss. I suggest you check out the older ones. CouchSurfing - Participate in Creating a Better World, One Couch At A Time This is a website I've been involved with for years. You can participate either by hosting a "couchsurfer" or "surf" couches. Basically, it's a database of a) people interested in meeting locals within the destination in which they have traveled to, b) travelers who are on a budget and need a free place to stay and c) people interested in meeting/helping travelers. Yes, it can be dangerous, but that's why there's a system that provides you with references. I've hosted a few times and surfed zero times. I've met tons of good people and had some pretty memorable experiences. 6) Paper or plastic? ... I try to bring my own bags or boldly fit everything in my arms. Most of the time, it's unwillingly, plastic. |
