I'm getting the feeling that too many people think extra-terrestrial life means humanoidish intelligent life forms that fly around in space ships.

Even a single cell organism originating from a different planet than ours is extra-terrestrial life.

Usually random situations that will never happen, complete fiction fabricated in my weird mind. Although these days, I've had far deeper thoughts about life in general.

I take my laptop into the bathroom, so it depends on my mood.
I've often sang Jeff Buckley songs.
I always listen to Modest Mouse in the shower, but I don't tend to sing much.
Unless it's "Float On"
I sing all sorts depending on my mood, but I often sing in the shower.

3) Do you believe extra-terrestrial life exists?
Not thought much about it, but I'd say yes I do - but not fully formed fully intelligent beings. I believe there is life out there other than ourselves, but isn't as formed or intelligent as ourselves.

4) If you had the chance to get a message out to a large group of people, what would your message be?
I have nothing of importance to say to a generic group of people, so I'd probably just say 'ello.
Actually, I've thought of something of importance I'd say.
I'd probably send out a message to people about a consumer society, I'd tell people who hold values that really don't matter, collect things that really don't matter, get wound up over things that really don't matter to get some perspective and start concentrating on the things that DO matter.
But I probably wouldn't, I'd just silently think it and judge people.

More money, life's a bit too long if you ask me.
Getting a bit fucking sick of it.

I was going to take a picture, but that's too much effort.

Usually just random stuff. But a lot of the time i think about what i'm going to do the next day and what i'm going to wear.

I have a gut feeling. If we exist here on this planet there's got to be other planets out there that are able to support life in some shape or form. Whether there's life out there similar to us is another question.

I think the better question would be do you believe that intelligent life existed, since things like bacteria have been discovered on Mars and such. In that case I would believe so, yes.

Eh, I don't see why not. If we exist, why can't other things?

I don't know, but my friend was sitting next to me and she said her message would be "Send the troops back" since her boyfriend is deployed this year.

1) What is normally the last thing you think about before going to sleep?
- There's really no set routine to what I think about before going to sleep. It's not even always reality based or fantasy based. It could be the day previous, something from years ago, something that may happen in the future, an idea for a story / play / writing of some sort, a chord progression that might sound interesting, song lyrics, elaborate "what-if" scenarios (the most recent of these involved my precise plan of action if zombies were to break into my room at that moment), and things of that nature.

2) Do you sing in the shower? What's your fave song to scrub yourself down to?
- I do when I'm home alone. I've got a weird thing where I generally sing "Love Reign O'er Me" by The Who in the shower. It sounds so cool with the bathroom acoustics.

3) Do you believe extra-terrestrial life exists?
- It was complete chance that life even occurred on Earth, a freak accident of sorts. Then again, we have no way of knowing how big the Universe actually is, so the probability could actually point in favor of there being life elsewhere. Then again, it may be quite a lot smaller than we project, and what we have here on Earth could be it.

4) If you had the chance to get a message out to a large group of people, what would your message be?
- You matter. No one else is any more or less important than any other person in the world. You all matter.

5) Would you rather have more time, or more money?
- Money. I have no money, and spending a longer period of time in my life without money with which to (though I hate it) do things I love to do sounds pretty horrible. As long as I'm able to do things I love and want to do, I don't care how long my life is.

- A box of chocolates from Valentine's Day...might need to throw that out. I dare not look inside.

Generally something completely trivial that I was in the process of finding amusing, or vaguely interesting. Like when you say a word like "careful" and you realise that it means to be full of care and think "ah, that makes sense".

I don't think I have ever not sang in the shower. "What I'm singing depends on what song is in my head, whether I'm thinking anything else at the same time and what it reminds me of, or maybe just a random tune that's based upon the tune that I started off singing.

Definitely. Given the essentially infinite size of the universe, no matter how statistically improbable it is for life to exist, it's likely to exist elsewhere. Question is will we find them before we cause our own extinction :P

Nothing is worth killing for. Except Steak. mmmm, steak.

1) What is normally the last thing you think about before going to sleep?
If I have had a few drinkies then it's usually: did I turn my laptop off and close everything and is my phone off.
If if I have had lot's of drinkies, it's nothing at all.
If I have had no drinkies then it's money problems, what's pissed me off today and what are other people doing right now.

Never ever sing in the shower although I air drum and air guitar constantly and I don't have to be in the shower for that.

Of course. It invariably follows that where there was/is water then life could exist and there is evidence that Mars may once have had water and that's a big red bugger just down the road so the odds are that life however simplistic has to exist somewhere.

Money but not necessarily for myself. It would be used to enrich my kids lives by providing more opportunities to sample and experience life.
