Christmas 2. Do you gain weight around this time of year? No 3. What is your ideal holiday? Talking music around a fire with my parents friends till the wee hours of the morning. 4. Do you visit anywhere this time of year? ...Delaware. 5. Stay inside with hot coco or build a snowman? The former 6. Be honest now... don't you find the concept of Santa Claus a little creepy? 7. What is the best Xmas present you ever received? This: A signed original vinyl copy of R.E.M.'s "Chronic Town" EP, signed by Michael Stipe in 1982. My dad met the guys that year and as a fan of their EP, had to get it signed. That was passed down to me a few years ago. One of my most prized possessions. |

christmas yo. 2. Do you gain weight around this time of year? naw, I'm on that bulemia type ****. 3. What is your ideal holiday? being alone at the house listening to music. 4. Do you visit anywhere this time of year? no; it's a strict rule for me. i never ever leave Illinois during christmas time. 5. Stay inside with hot coco or build a snowman? drink hot cocoa with a snowman. 6. Be honest now... don't you find the concept of Santa Claus a little creepy? not really, but I wasn't raised with the typical jolly fat Santa. Our Santa was a young dude who made toys for just poor kids in Poland. 7. What is the best Xmas present you ever received? I got a guitar when I was like 10 or 11, that's a good one. |

1. What Winter Holidays do you celebrate?
The birth of Santa 2. Do you gain weight around this time of year? I eat less actually. 3. What is your ideal holiday? Like last year, around New year's Eve, when all my family travelled to some country... I would sit alone in the chilly darkness, a cigarette in my hand, listening to Beethoven or Piper at the gates of dawn. 4. Do you visit anywhere this time of year? My parents do, so it does seem like a holiday away. 5. Stay inside with hot coco or build a snowman? SNOWMAN!! 6. Be honest now... don't you find the concept of Santa Claus a little creepy? I always made me cry. 7. What is the best Xmas present you ever received? Last year, my brother offered me that DVD box-set: (just what I wished for)

Christmas. 2. Do you gain weight around this time of year? I don't think so... I don't really pay much attention to that to be honest. 3. What is your ideal holiday? I've already experienced my ideal holiday, it was too New Zealand and it was amazing. But I guess I'd like to travel to Europe and live with and visit my family, that would be fun. 4. Do you visit anywhere this time of year? Nope. 5. Stay inside with hot coco or build a snowman? Neither because it's freakin' hot so I don't want a hot coco, and we don't have any snow and even if we did it would melt immediately in the stupid heat. 6. Be honest now... don't you find the concept of Santa Claus a little creepy? Yes, in fact I was completely terrified of Santa for most of my childhood, until I discovered he wasn't real, and then I was equally as terrified of the concept. 7. What is the best Xmas present you ever received? This year my parents and my sisters flew out to spend the summer here with me and my brother. Best present ever, I missed my sisters so much. |

Cheers man.
1. What Winter Holidays do you celebrate? Christmas 2. Do you gain weight around this time of year? yes 3. What is your ideal holiday? As long I hear my favorite Christmas albums it doesn't matter what happens especially Elvis Presley, The Ventures, Paul Revere and the Raiders, The BEach Boys Christmas albums. 4. Do you visit anywhere this time of year? sometimes, I visit relatives. 5. Stay inside with hot coco or build a snowman? hot coco 6. Be honest now... don't you find the concept of Santa Claus a little creepy? I don't know Santa Claus is the spokesman of Christmas, I don't know how other people feel about Christmas, to me it is a quaint time of year steeped in a long tradition. I remember I ask my friend who is a Yaweh Witness about Christmas and boy did he let me have it, how it was all base in pagan traditions etc, but I was only thinking about his experience during Christmas, it didn't matter if it was secular or religious, I was thinking more about Christmas as a cultural event. I've heard stories of how the American version of Santa Claus had a make-over from advertisement campaign by Coca-Cola in the 1930's. One interesting conspiracy theory put forth is that Santa Claus is Odin in disguise. So yeah Santa Claus creeps me out, because he doesn't take good care of animals, his one reindeer has Chronic Bioluminescent-Rhinitis and he's yet to take it to a veteranarian. 7. What is the best Xmas present you ever received? Les Paul, Grady Martin, Hank Garland compilation.
