I stood in line for five hours to watch the midnight premier and the theater sold out five people before me.

Ouch that sucks. I think I went the next day or summat with some friends and the movie was pretty bad but it was fun. The 7th one is being split into two parts apparently... I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Yeah I'm excited for the seventh/eighth movie, but I don't have high hopes. I don't care for the movies at all, really, and I always go into them expecting to be disappointed. That doesn't stop me though! TEAM POTTER!

Really? Aw I love the movies, and this is coming from a dedicated fan of the books! I think the films were done so well, a fantastic bunch of novel-to-film adaptations. I love them.

I mean c'mon... Luna Lovegood is one of the most accurate portrayals of fictional characters I've seen!

I guess it's not accurate for me to say I don't care for the movies; I've watched them all multiple times and enjoyed them, but there's just no way they could ever ever ever live up to the books. This is all subjective, of course. But I agree, Luna Lovegood was exactly how I always imagined her to be.

Ha ha...this was kind of like my situation, storymilo. My older brother got me the first Harry Potter book around 10 years ago for my birthday. I read the first chapter and thought...meh...not too impressive, and so I put the book away and promptly lost it. I remember thinking that *anything* so many other humans liked couldn't *possibly* be very good (that's my snobbish side), even though I was told that the books become more mature and engrossing as one advances through the series.

Well, two years ago I finally decided to give the series another go. I checked out the first book from the library.

Within two months I had read the whole series, eagerly watched all the movies available on DVD, and was waiting with excitement for the theater showings of the newest releases. I haven't worn a cape yet to a Harry Potter movie, though. Hmm....maybe I should dress up as Harry next time!

Here's my non-alcoholic six-pack:

What was your childhood nickname, and why?
Blondie. My grandma called me Blondie because my hair was...blond.

Best pick up line you've ever heard?
I have never heard a pick-up line (of me, that is). There are a lot of funny ones in existence, though!

Would you ever get plastic surgery done on any part of your body?
Never. Never never never never. I avoid creating unnecessary holes and lacerations in my body.

What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
After pushing the return change button many, many times, I try to find the owner of the vending machine. I contact the person to ask for my money back.

Whats the worst injury you've ever received?
A metal door closed on my thumb, breaking a thumb bone when I was 18. It had me hopping in pain. Ooo!

If you could invite three famous people to sit around a table and have dinner with you, who would they be?
Charles Darwin, Einstein, and Carl Sagan. I think they'd have a fun time meeting and learning from each other.

I only watched the first three movies to see how the characters looked like. Then I watched the fourth and forgot about it the very same day. Since I stopped watching the movies or getting the DVDs (as I was lamely starting a HP dvd collection).

My dad used to call me blondie, and I get a few random people calling me it nowadays. My current name to everyone is KT. (Initials).

So you don't approve of piercings?

and Charles Darwin's a good one. I never thought about him. I guess I could learn a great deal from the man himself.
