Mine. 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? That hedgehogs are better roasted and not microwaved. 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? My body cos you only get one unless I was a rich Californian then I could buy new parts I guess. 4. What is your worst childhood memory? Hearing that Father Christmas isn't real is your first indicator that the world is not the cosy place you thought. 5. What couldn't you do without? Masturbation. It's sex with someone I love 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what? £700 on my LCD tv a couple of years back.

The Beginner's Guide...although Bulldog's top 100 thread is pretty awesome as well. 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? Getting drunk and telling people things they don't need to know. I learned not to get drunk in mixed company...and to keep my ever-lovin' mouth shut. 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? I don't know if I can honestly say I have a single prized possession. 4. What is your worst childhood memory? Being mean to my mom. 5. What couldn't you do without? My computer. It's sad but I honestly don't know how I'd live without it at this point. It's how I find and catch up with old friends, it's my television, it's my link to great new music and most of the outside world. 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what? Spent a lot of money to get my house...and still paying.

Either "100 Essays on 100 Albums..." or "The Beginner's Guide To...". 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? I've made no big mistakes recently. But going back a few months, focusing too much on completing college projects and stuff rather than planning my future after college. Here i am now working in a bloody hardware store on minimum wage. I'm going back to college in a couple of weeks though to repeat the year and get a better overall grade, and perhaps plan things better. 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? The only thing really that comes to mind is this laptop. Ha, i do everything with it... 4. What is your worst childhood memory? Drunken beatings from my father. 5. What couldn't you do without? It's been said before but friends, family, music, money, food and drink in order to survive, and air for breathing. 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what? 1200 for my car.

Unpopular music opinions, I find myself reading through it often. Also some of the journals. 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? I haven't made any mistakes in awhile so I can't think of a good answer for this one. 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? Probably this wooden toy truck that my father made from scratch. It means so much to me because he passed away four years ago and I have dragged that toy truck around with me everywhere I moved to. 4. What is your worst childhood memory? getting a spanking from my grandmother while my head was still bleeding from an accident. 5. What couldn't you do without? my zune. It goes everywhere with me and I wish it didn't ever need to be charged. 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what? 600 for my ps3. |

This one! 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? I emailed my question to the wrong professor the other day. More embarrassing I guess, but it doesn't look good for the first week of school! 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? A Barbie that my Grandma bought for when I was 4, about 15 years ago. That Barbie's been everywhere with me. It's still in excellent condition. My Grandma is very sick now and everytime I hold the doll I think of her and pray. 4. What is your worst childhood memory? Being in the hospital over Christmas when I was 10. I was really sick and it was horrible! 5. What couldn't you do without? My laptop. I use it for school so I don't have a choice anyways! 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what? $2500 for my flute. Still paying that off actually... |

100 Essays on 100 Albums: A Journey Through Music and Life & An Alternative Look at The 1960's 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? I did the project like I wanted to and not like my stupid cliché teacher wanted, so he failed me. I learned that my teacher isn't only stupid, but some kind of ape. 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? I'm not so much keen on stuff. Nothing in mind. 4. What is your worst childhood memory? many meaningless incidents. But one of those bad memories: I was 10, and we went to visit the highest peak in here. so we were at 3500m above sea, and it's freezing. My big brother was so happy there was a lake there, so he went pointing at every fish he sees. His hand was going everywhere, and his restless hand shoved me right into the lake. We were with friends, so the rest of the family went on to do what ever we intended to do, and I had to stay in the car wherever they stopped, so I won't catch a cold [not having any dry clothes or shoes]. 5. What couldn't you do without? My car, my books, my music. 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what? last week, 200$ on books, CDs and DVDs. [I do this once every 2 months]

If I had more time to sit and read it would probably be a journal...but as it is my activity is sporadic like I have ADD so I just do hit and runs on many different threads. No favorite. 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? I deleted a site I was about to launch yesterday! Lesson = pay more attention and make a backup even if you don't think it's necessary! 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? CD collection. I value it because I started it around 1990 and it took a lot of time and money, biggest hobby. Though because of the digital age I grow less and less attached to it every day. Well not literally. 4. What is your worst childhood memory? I accidentally stabbed my sister's leg with a pitchfork and got yelled at as if I'd done it on purpose. 5. What couldn't you do without? Air. Music. People I care about, even though I tend to spend a lot of time alone. 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what?
about $9,000 I had saved up to buy my first car. Makes me wonder how I was so disciplined with saving money as a teenager but have sucked at it as an adult.

The Spill Your Guts Thread. Although I may never make one, I've been mentioned a few times lately. 2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it? I didn't e-mail my teachers to tell them I had missed one of their lectures. I had a quiz on my day back and I have a test on Tuesday. >.> 3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much? My guitar. She's seen my worst tears, she knows my deepest secrets, and she's shared my most intense inspirations. 4. What is your worst childhood memory? I used to see inanimate objects move. I think it was just because I was homesick when my parents were at work and dropped me off at my aunt's house every morning. 5. What couldn't you do without? My glasses. [= 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what?
I bought new, warmer clothing, appliances and such for college. I think I cried knowing I spent that much money. |

Music, food, drinkage, and solitude. 6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what?
A mere 80% on an iPod Shuffle. Wish I hadn't though because it broke in a matter of months.
