1) What extremely difficult life situation have you overcome and how did you do it?
I'll be vague here. It had to do with addiction and I just let her go. How I coped is still beyond me but I manage. 2) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Idealistically, on TV. Realistically, on the street. We musicians have it rough. 3) Name 5 things you would want to change about yourself? I'd like to be slightly better at my instrument, soloing specifically. I'm a solid rhythm guitarist, but terrible at solos. I'd like to be a bit better with girls. I'm not really shy, but a bit over spoken maybe. More wealthy, obviously. I was born into a poor family, and have since never really made any real progress. I'd like to be taller. I'm only 5'8". Maybe a bit less elitist? I don't really know if elitism is a flawed character trait or not. 4) To which social class do you belong? Lower. 5) When was the time you were the most frightened? I was almost hit by a car once. 6) Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Killing animals is fine, hunting and just slaughtering for food is all good in my book. Killing another human is fine only out of defense in my opinion. |

Just dealing with my own negative perceptions about myself, nothing major which I got over with the understanding that self-image is a choice and adopting more positive ways of thinking about my life 2) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? hopefully with more wealth wisdom and compassion 3) Name 5 things you would want to change about yourself? I'd be a morning person instead of a night owl. I've always envied people who sprung out of bed at the crack of dawn with a pre-built fire burning under their ass I'd like to be more focused and motivated about the things I'd like to accomplish with my life I'd like to quit smoking cigarettes (I'm like a chimney, seriously!) I'd be less reclusive I'd spend more time with my wife and daughter 4) To which social class do you belong? Middle 5) When was the time you were the most frightened? When my wife went into labor 6) Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Self-defense..........and for food |

1) What extremely difficult life situation have you overcome and how did you do it?
I had to decide whether or not it was worth it to marry a man my parents (mostly my mom) did not approve of. I did it anyway, and I never regret it for a second. 2) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? In a better looking house than the crappy one I live in now. 3) Name 5 things you would want to change about yourself? (1) Need to learn to deal with confrontation better. (2) Eating better. (3) Rid myself of social anxiety. (4) Learn to play a musical instrument. (5) Learn to cook. 4) To which social class do you belong? Middle, I suppose. 5) When was the time you were the most frightened? Recently, my friend set my kitchen on fire with hot corn oil and tortillas. That was fun. 6) Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? What kind of killing? This is kind of an open-ended question. I mean, I kill bugs everyday. I don't think I could bring myself to kill another person though. Or an animal, unless I needed it for food, and even then I might have a hard time.

1) What extremely difficult life situation have you overcome and how did you do it?
Probably my Dad dying... don't know how I did that. 2) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? I don't look that far ahead. Location wise, I'll probably be in England or Australia. Occupation wise, I'll either be working towards a PhD or working with a BE (software engineering). 3) Name 5 things you would want to change about yourself? * Height - I'd like to be just a bit taller * Laziness - I wish I wasn't lazy... nowadays I'm content to just sit around watching episodes, mucking around on the net, listening to music and mucking around with my flatmates. * Chest - I've mentioned my screwed up breathing before. * Memory - I used to have a brilliant memory... I feel it's degrading now, but maybe I'm just being overly critical/paranoid. * Drawing - I wish I was better at it... I'm not short on ideas but I just can't execute them. 4) To which social class do you belong? Haha, students are the lowest class citizens here... people on the dole get paid more. But I'd say my family is lower/middle class. 5) When was the time you were the most frightened? No idea... probably when my brother crashed his bike and I didn't know whether he was badly injured. 6) Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Killing in self-defence is acceptable.

1) What extremely difficult life situation have you overcome and how did you do it?
I lost my mind and hit a deep hole in depression. The doctors said I was Bi-Polar, but I longed for the manic phase. I completely lost about 4 months of my life that I am still trying to remember. The whole thing ended up costing me my military career. I'm still not sure how I overcame everything, but it had a lot to do with fighting in my own head. 2) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Going insane because I'll have a 17 year old daughter by then. 12 is bad enough. I'm hoping to be back in Texas by then. 3) Name 5 things you would want to change about yourself? I would want to be more friendly. Less angry. hmmm, this is hard. I'm gonna have to finish later. 4) To which social class do you belong? Middle class blue collar 5) When was the time you were the most frightened? The day my daughter was born, I almost lost her and my wife. 6) Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Its never acceptable, only justifiable.

1) What extremely difficult life situation have you overcome and how did you do it?
Hmmm...not sure...when I was a teen I pretty much saw all of my father's "psychotic" episodes as the worst thing ever. I got over it by not having a choice...either kill someone or get tougher...:\ 2) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Here...lol. Still in Croatia, probably working at some boring job, struggling to make ends meet. 3) Name 5 things you would want to change about yourself? Be more easygoing/less socially awkward. Less lazy. Less paranoid. Happier. Braver. 4) To which social class do you belong? Middle class. 5) When was the time you were the most frightened? About 7 years ago, another father related incident. Shook from sheer fright, was pretty depressed days afterwards (just wanted to sleep)...the man still frightens me at times...given the right circumstances, I think he's capable of some pretty frightening things. 6) Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?[/QUOTE] I used to be a Catholic so my answer was always self-defense only. Lately I've been contemplating other options...
