1. What do you typically dream about?
Ethan <3<3 2. Do you look forward to going to sleep at night? Err, If I'm ever looking forward to going to sleep it's probably morning or mid-afternoon. 3. Is there something you're good at that you probably shouldn't be? I have no talents other than being amazingly sexy Maybe cooking. 4. Would/Have you be(en) a better parent than your own? I turned out pretty damn awesome, so I don't know, only time will tell I suppose. 5. Honestly, on a 1-10 scale 10 being the smartest where would you be? 9. Based on the people I've met, it's rare to meet anyone obviously smarter than me. Impossible at university, amazingly enough >_< 6. How do you feel about most police officers? A welcome sight, there's a lot of cops at Uni becuase of forensics courses and such. They're all great people. Miles better than the people who break the law, that's for sure.

My dreams range in style, if they're like cartoons or video games or science fiction films or surrealist paintings (I have all of the above) then I rarely realise it's a dream. If they're more vivid and involve certain places or people in my life, than I'm more likely to catch on to it being a dream. Interesting how that works, you'd think it would be the other way around. Fortunately whenever I have a nightmare I quickly catch on to the fact that I'm dreaming and scream myself awake before anything truly horrific happens. I'd also like to mention that I suffer from sleep paralysis, which is what happens when you wake up but the part of your brain that produces dreams is still activated (I think it's what you call DMT, I dunno), in other words I have moments were I'm awake but I'm still dreaming, I see and hear strange, sometimes horrifying things, in these instances I tend to be motionless and have to force myself out of it. |

I have always presumed that making a decision in a dream was normal? I can wake up from a dream and then slip straight back into it minutes later and guide it to the parameters that the dream is within.

That's happened to me a couple of times.
I especially hate it when I have an awesome dream, that's like a kickass sci fi epic, and I wake up before the climax, but if I can get back to sleep quickly, I might be able to get back to where I left off. |

I had a strange dream yesterday, that I was in the woods, and I almost got mauled by a bear, it started chasing me, so I ran out of the woods, and it was like a park or something, and the bear kept chasing me, eventually I ran into my brother and this other guy, the bear disappeared. But then my brother and the other guy started chastising me because I was endangering other people by luring the bear out of the woods, and that I was selfish for not just letting the bear kill me.
I got so pissed off and I started screaming at them, telling them to go f*ck themselves. Even if that guy was just a figment of my imagination, he still pisses me off, talk about a total f*cking douchebag. And even though it didn't actually happen, I still feel like punching my brother in the face for it. |
