1. What do you typically dream about?
They're not usually about the same thing, and I don't remember them more than a couple times a month. 2. Do you look forward to going to sleep at night? Definitely...yet I always put it off because I'm doing other stuff 3. Is there something you're good at that you probably shouldn't be? Better at spelling and grammar than many Americans (at the least the ones I encounter online and in the professional world), even though English is my second language. 4. Would/Have you be(en) a better parent than your own? I don't have any kids, but I don't think I could really outdo my parents. They may not have been perfect but they did a good job at raising us. 5. Honestly, on a 1-10 scale 10 being the smartest where would you be? 6 probably. 6. How do you feel about most police officers? I think this greatly depends on your lifestyle and type of neighborhood you live in. That said, at the moment I respect them and think that in general they are just doing their job. Many take advantage of their badge to do things not run though lights, not use their blinkers, speed, etc. and that bugs me a little. But I don't interact with police for the most part, so I don't really have an opinion on them.

1. What do you typically dream about?
My dreams vary. They've always been strange. The most reoccurring theme is death for me. I've been working on lucid dreaming for quite sometime and have only gone as far as to acknowledge that I'm dreaming. It seems, though, when I do this, my dreams become a slow motion film and that makes it very hard for me to control them. 2. Do you look forward to going to sleep at night? Yes, but I never go to bed earlier than 2am anymore. Night time is alone time for me. 3. Is there something you're good at that you probably shouldn't be? Driving while intoxicated. I try not to do it often, but when I do, I'm very shocked at how well at drive. Also, I'm bitter about excelling in English. 4. Would/Have you be(en) a better parent than your own? No. Though my folks weren't around too much starting from age 4, I commend them for all they've done for my brother and me. The most beautiful thing I've ever witnessed is the patience, love and forgiveness that my parents possess in raising their children. 5. Honestly, on a 1-10 scale 10 being the smartest where would you be? 5. I would consider myself average, whatever the fuck that happens to be. 6. How do you feel about most police officers? I'll just tell you about a couple of experiences and let you guess for yourself: -I dated a black guy for two and a half years in high school, and I can guarantee you that I've never been pulled over and searched so many times before in my life than when I was with him. I've had police officers go through my SUBWAY SANDWICH looking for drugs. -A few months ago, my friends and I were at a local bar. My friend Dan had to take a leak and relieved himself next to a secluded dumpster. A cop who was apparently watching him pulled over and told him he was being charged as a sexual offender, arrested him and took him in for processing. Don't worry, though - in a drunken vengeance, I pissed all over the bathroom floor at the police station while we bailed Dan out. Best piss ever. |

I've learned a few of the lucid dreaming techniques.
The light switch trick really comes in handy. |

In dreams, the lighting can't change, light switches don't work. A room can be lit up, and you turn a light switch and it doesn't work.
Another handy trick is counting your fingers or reading signs, they tend to be distorted. |

If I dream I always know that I am dreaming and I have altered my dream path many many times. I rarely have dreams that I cannot control.

Usually the more vivid a dream, the easier it is to tell if you're dreaming, otherwise it just feels like you're watching a movie or something.
I have been having more lucid dreams lately, but I haven't really made the effort to control them. I need to work on that. |
