1. What modern convenience should never have been invented?
The cellphone (see Urban's rant) 2. If you could exchange places with any person from history, no longer alive, who would you want to have been? Jesus, then i would publish a tell-all autibiography to avoid all the confusion that's stirring up the world today. 3. If you could choose the very last thing you would see before you die, what would it be? world peace, the full evolution of human conciousness, and the hidden 3-D image in one of those crazy puzzle pictures 4. If you owned a store, what would you sell? coffee, books, and a clue 5. Do you judge people solely by their musical preferences? I think "appraise" is a much better word, but no i listen to some crap too. 6. Is it more worthwhile and satisfying to improve the world or appreciate the world? contrary to popular opininion, i feel the latter must preceed the former. If you feel your living in a world of poo, then "As a man thinketh.... 1) If you could give everyone else in the world a disability you didn't have to suffer, what would it be? Delusional optimism 2) Do you like who you are? Very much so! 3) Do you have pets? 2 cats 1 dog 4) Have you come close to dying? yup 5) If you could travel to any place at any point in time, where & when would you go? Here and now 6) Are you a collector of anything? Experience? 1) What's the smartest thing you've ever done? Marry my wife 2) If you could have one super-power what would it be? to freeze time for everyone but me (ala Click) 3) What's your favorite ice cream flavour? Pumkin pie and vanilla with a tasty stout poured on top 4) If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to? Buck Shocker (the actual given name of one of my friends) 5) List 5 goals on your life's to-do list 1) make a list of life's to-dos 2) get published 3) make Loads and loads of money (hopefully by getting published) 4) Smile more 5) judge less 6) Do you believe in ghosts? Yes. |

The mobile phone with inbuilt MP3 player. It is not big and not clever having to listen to godawful commercial rap/ RnB played through an awful completely inadequate mono speaker which is in turn held by chavs and chavettes. 2. If you could exchange places with any person from history, no longer alive, who would you want to have been? Leonardo Da Vinci. Supremely talented and the world was in the thrall of frenzied learning and enlightenment. 3. If you could choose the very last thing you would see before you die, what would it be? Apart from the usual (My family) I would have to say Stonehenge @ summer solstice. I would like to feel at one with the earth (I'm a closet hippy) 4. If you owned a store, what would you sell? Not hard to guess- Music and films, with a juice bar tacked onto the back. 5. Do you judge people solely by their musical preferences? I would like to think not. I think that many many people are narrow minded when it comes to music but music is just one facet of a persons personality. 6. It is more worthwhile and satisfying to improve the world or appreciate the world? Both. I happen to think that the world can be a thing of beauty but I also get disheartened by our inability to attune ourselves better with it.

I don't know but weren't me meant to have hover cars by now? Anything that allows you to watch streaming video 'on the go', actually. If you saw somebody on the bus watching Family Guy and chuckling to themselves you would twat them, right? 2. If you could exchange places with any person from history, no longer alive, who would you want to have been? Emily Brontë's boyfriend. If I were a boyfriend of the time-travelling variety I would warp us to the late 60's and start a toytown-psychedelia band called Brontësaurus. Or Frank Zappa. 3. If you could choose the very last thing you would see before you die, what would it be? Our sun going supernova. Something with explosions and **** 4. If you owned a store, what would you sell? In a parallel universe I would be earning a good living selling records. Hard copies, in this day and age! Crazy. 5. Do you judge people solely by their musical preferences? Ofcourse not, but if it's somebody who professes to be a bit of a music buff then I will judge them accordingly. 6. It is more worthwhile and satisfying to improve the world or appreciate the world? What's to appreciate? If you can change anything you should, even if it's just the way you see the universe, maaan. |

I agree with Wayfarer on this one... cellphones. Sure, they originally were genuinely quite useful for emergencies etc... now I hate them. What the hell happened to one person meeting another person in real life without a cellphone involved? I can't watch a movie or even an episode with my brother without him whipping out his cellphone every 30 seconds... sorry, but it ISN'T possible to watch Black Books effectively while using a cellphone, no matter what you think. It's as if cellphones parasitically leach from their owners and force them to lead double lives. 2. If you could exchange places with any person from history, no longer alive, who would you want to have been? Frank Zappa comes to mind... I've always liked him, but lately I've been listening to nothing else. 3. If you could choose the very last thing you would see before you die, what would it be? NZ thrashing England in the cricket... oh wait. 4. If you owned a store, what would you sell? Music! 5. Do you judge people solely by their musical preferences? I try not to... but I do think you can figure out some things about people from their musical tastes at times... but it is a flawed science. However, speculating upon possible traits and judgement are two different things, so I guess I don't. 6. It is more worthwhile and satisfying to improve the world or appreciate the world? Appreciate the world. I already do it as I'm a bit hippyish at heart. Because if there is improvement required in the world due to the negligence of humans, that means that my improvement once made would probably not be appreciated much. In fact it would most likely be destroyed. On the other hand, I'd like to think I contributed to the world in some way in my lifetime.

My dad fell asleep once when he was driving because of low-blood sugar, and we drifted into oncoming traffic. That was the closest i've evr come to dying 5) If you could travel to any place at any point in time, where & when would you go? Where I live now, only when I was seven or so so I could talk to myself and give myself a heads up. 6) Are you a collector of anything? rare films 1) What's the smartest thing you've ever done? Sporks are both bad spoons and bad forks. 2. If you could exchange places with any person from history, no longer alive, who would you want to have been? Hendrix I guess. I'd like to understand the thought process behind the tones he used. 3. If you could choose the very last thing you would see before you die, what would it be? Mindy Maine doing some squirting stuff. 4. If you owned a store, what would you sell? Music and merchandise from bands on small labels and unsigned bands. 5. Do you judge people solely by their musical preferences? I try not to. 6. It is more worthwhile and satisfying to improve the world or appreciate the world? Improving is subjective, I prefer the term liberating. |
