1. About which age would you say, "That was the happiest period of my life". Why? Probably when I was twelve. I was the most popular kid in my class that year. It was all downhill ever since

2. Who usually prepares the food in your house? How much time do you spend in the kitchen per day? Me, I cook my own food. Not long, I just throw something on.

3. What effect has MB had on your personality? Good, Bad or Zero? Probably zero, I've always have been a bit of a hermit

4. If Elon Musk donated Twitter to you, what would you do with it? Probably shut the damn thing down.

5. What was your last musical surprise? - when you said to yourself, "I never imagined I'd enjoy something like this" Can't point something out in particular. I know I like something like Father John Misty for example.

6. Now that you've posted in the Saturday 6-Pack, what's the next thing you will do today?

Do one of my computer projects

1. About which age would you say, "That was the happiest period of my life". Why?

My early 30's. My daughter and me would go everywhere together, I had a dream job and I was in the best shape of my life.

2. Who usually prepares the food in your house? How much time do you spend in the kitchen per day?

Me. It depends on the day of the week. Weekdays not really much just lunches and quick dinners, but on the weekend I'll spend a few hours prepping and cooking a good meal or two.

3. What effect has MB had on your personality? Good, Bad or Zero?

I come here for my daily dose of cringe and regret.

4. If Elon Musk donated Twitter to you, what would you do with it?

Sell it.

5. What was your last musical surprise? - when you said to yourself, "I never imagined I'd enjoy something like this"

Hmmm... I'm pretty open minded so that hasn't been a thing.

6. Now that you've posted in the Saturday 6-Pack, what's the next thing you will do today?

Finish my coffee and go to Menards for a 24mm socket so I can change my oil. First change for the new whip and I found out I don't have that size.

1. About which age would you say, "That was the happiest period of my life". Why?

I'd imagine 17 - 25 (1980 - 1988). I'd just started my first real job (which ended up being my only real job), had my own money and bills were paid by my ma (I gave up money of course, but there was no need to worry about what was getting paid when). A more carefree time, before the weight of the world crushed my spirit into a tiny resentful blob.

2. Who usually prepares the food in your house? How much time do you spend in the kitchen per day?

Me. If you mean actually cooking, not long as Karen's dinner is just microwaving frozen pureed meals, about maybe 20 mins for me. But I'm in and out of the kitchen a lot, especially on the way to and from her room.

3. What effect has MB had on your personality? Good, Bad or Zero?

MB saved my life. Literally. I'd have no friends if it wasn't for you guys. Oh man, that is so sad I think I'll just go and kill myself. What do you mean, you're not my friends? Oh well, that's all right then.

4. If Elon Musk donated Twitter to you, what would you do with it?

Seal it in concrete, seal that in concrete, cover it all in steel and sink it into the North Atlantic.

Then drop a bomb on it and tell Facebook "You're next!"

5. What was your last musical surprise? - when you said to yourself, "I never imagined I'd enjoy something like this"

Maybe Kind of Blue? Possibly Wolves by Rise Against? Hard to say: I've become a lot more open in what I listen to and not so judgemental.

6. Now that you've posted in the Saturday 6-Pack, what's the next thing you will do today?

Go continue writing a story history of Wales for my History of England journal, then start writing part two of my Sherlock Holmes novel.

1. About which age would you say, "That was the happiest period of my life". Why?

not sure on this one boss

2. Who usually prepares the food in your house? How much time do you spend in the kitchen per day?

lol it's me and just time to cut up apples or 5 mins for ramen noodles or 1:25 for rice in the microwave.

3. What effect has MB had on your personality? Good, Bad or Zero?

Good

4. If Elon Musk donated Twitter to you, what would you do with it?

Sell 49% of it to investors and control the majority but also just re-do the blue check mark thing like he is doing with a subscription. I would put short-form content videos on there like Instagram reels, TikTok, and youtube shorts. not sure really but I would think of more stuff

5. What was your last musical surprise? - when you said to yourself, "I never imagined I'd enjoy something like this"
taylor swift song called maroon, only song I liked from her new album but I did like that one song.

6. Now that you've posted in the Saturday 6-Pack, what's the next thing you will do today?

About to watch George from CryptosRUS youtube channel at 11:30am; sit here and listen to music and read stuff on city-data and musicbanter until then.

1. About which age would you say, "That was the happiest period of my life". Why?

Not sure, I have a feeling it's happening right now. Good relationships, good mental/physical health, hella intellectual growth, the general having of good times even if I work too much. That's a nice list.

2. Who usually prepares the food in your house? How much time do you spend in the kitchen per day?

I prepare all of my food. It averages out to about one hour a day but most of that is from 3 or so hours of meal prep I do on Sundays.

3. What effect has MB had on your personality? Good, Bad or Zero?

I've literally been here since I was a child, I'm sure I'd be an entirely different person without y'all.

4. If Elon Musk donated Twitter to you, what would you do with it?

Dox him and tell him he can take it down if he buys it back.

5. What was your last musical surprise? - when you said to yourself, "I never imagined I'd enjoy something like this"

I really hate Christmas music but I recently discovered that the Jackson 5 Christmas Album is rad as ****.

6. Now that you've posted in the Saturday 6-Pack, what's the next thing you will do today?

Smoke a bowl and check on the chicken in the oven.

1. About which age would you say, "That was the happiest period of my life". Why?
That's really hard to say. I've mostly been quite happy in life with the exception of a few bad periods, but on the other hand there hasn't been a period without issues or an unhappy side either. I think the best time so far may be now. Me and people around me have struggles and worries but at least I feel comfortable and generally happy with who I am now.
2. Who usually prepares the food in your house? How much time do you spend in the kitchen per day?
me. I probably cook for 30-45 minutes on weekdays and sometimes longer on weekends
3. What effect has MB had on your personality? Good, Bad or Zero?
it has had a good influence on my personal growth, I think. I have some interests that I wouldn't have been able to share with people if it wasn't for you guys, which also helped in developing them. This place has certainly broadened my musical horizons, for instance. Also, I'm not satisfied with my modding but I'm better at mediating in conflict than I had realised before coming here. And I think finding a place for myself here (like finding a place in any community) has contributed to the growing feeling of comfort with myself and my place in the world
4. If Elon Musk donated Twitter to you, what would you do with it?
set it on fire
5. What was your last musical surprise? - when you said to yourself, "I never imagined I'd enjoy something like this"
The first album by the Who
6. Now that you've posted in the Saturday 6-Pack, what's the next thing you will do today?
make some tea while listening to the Stranglers

I'd just like to add that, for a first effort, this six-pack from Lisnaholic is up with the best I've seen. Well done man!

Take no notice of rubbersoul, Trollheart ! Yours was a very kind remark: encouraging someone on their first attempt. What a nice thing to do.
Also thanks to everyone who took the trouble to reply: a lot of interesting and varied responses.

I enjoyed writing the questions, but in the answering, I find several of them to be disagreeably intrusive. Who the hell does this nosey guy think he is?

1. About which age would you say, "That was the happiest period of my life". Why?
Been lucky enough to have several candidates for this one, but the perhaps the best years were being a dad to a growing boy, with some of those cliché moments you don't forget - between the first time you make him laugh as a baby, and teaching him to ride a bike (age 8).

2. Who usually prepares the food in your house? How much time do you spend in the kitchen per day?
That'd be me. Every 5 days or so I put on some loud music and spend an hour or more cooking enough to last for a few days. Between times, just short visits to make coffee, wash dishes, etc.

3. What effect has MB had on your personality? Good, Bad or Zero?
Lots of good effects for me:
- I no longer badger rl friends to listen to music they're not interested in, and I've been introduced to a whole bunch of artists and genres I didn't know about.
- "To approve, and to be approved of" - that's the essence of feeling comfortable in a social group, and I've felt that here many times over the years, which has made me more confident as a person.
- I've also learned to express myself better: instead of the impromptu babble that is ordinary conversation, I like the fact that on MB you can take your time, order your thoughts and choose your words.

4. If Elon Musk donated Twitter to you, what would you do with it?

I'd pay Marie Monday a massive salary to restore its reputation and keep it running smoothly and ethically.

5. What was your last musical surprise? - when you said to yourself, "I never imagined I'd enjoy something like this"

Prob when I "discovered" Industrial music a few years back.

6. Now that you've posted in the Saturday 6-Pack, what's the next thing you will do today?

Loiter on the internet while I finish my breakfast, then get dressed and tick off a couple of today's to-do's: some Christmas shopping and a routine (we hope) medical check.
