ISB: That question about old furniture must have been written especially for you! I bet you could have written pages on all the old furniture you have!

What is your favourite road trip destination?
It's still northern Québec. The drive is scenic. It brings back all kinds of memories of me going up there with my family. In second place would be Kingston, Ontario. It's such a fun place. What is your favourite comfort food? rice and tomato juice Who is on your "must see live" bucket list? Stereophonics are at the top of my list. I drove 200km to see them, only for them to cancel the show as I approached the venue. Poison is up there, though I've seen Bret Michaels on his own once. The Swedish bands are all on the list now too (Crazy Lixx, Hardcore Superstar, Crashdiet). When is the last time you wrote a letter to someone? The last personal letter I wrote was to my grandmother not long before she died. That would be roughly seven years ago. Which album in your collection are you embarrassed to show anyone? A friend gave me crap when he saw me buy a Jann Arden CD. I also have a CD from James Blunt. Were you ever told you look like a celeb? If so, who? In high school, girls called me Doogie. Apparently, I looked like Neil Patrick Harris. Our hair was the similar, I guess. |

What is your favourite road trip destination?
Any place that has a decent disc golf course. I plan my vacations on that, and went out to Beaver Ranch in Colorado last year and usually head up to Michigan. I just went on one last Saturday, which is about an hour away. Marquette Park Beach in Gary, IN just had a brand new course installed and I was asked to create the tee signs for it, so I had to head there to get a good feel for the surrounding area. I snapped lots of pics, but here's a just a few: What is your favorite comfort food? Chicken and mashed potato's. Who is on your "must see live" bucket list? Goose and Marcus King. I just missed Goose last month. When is the last time you wrote a letter to someone? I have no idea. It's been a long time. Which album in your collection are you embarrassed to show anyone? None Were you ever told you look like a celeb? If so, who? I get the "You look familiar" line quite a bit, but no, no celebs.

What is your favourite road trip destination?
I made two cross country trips as well as regional trips throughout the Eastern US. I guess my favorite spot, from a scenic standpoint, would be Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The sand there was snow white and you were surrounded by ocean. What is your favourite comfort food? I guess when I could eat it, I'd say cheese. Who is on your "must see live" bucket list? Don't know if I have a "must see" bucket list, but seeing Paul McCartney wouldn't be a bad thing When is the last time you wrote a letter to someone? I wrote my Aunt in the fall of 2017. I never got a return letter from her and she died of leukemia a couple months later. Which album in your collection are you embarrassed to show anyone? I got rid of most of my vinyl, sadly, but I guess in the day, maybe something pop like Sonny and Cher. Were you ever told you look like a celeb? If so, who? Everyone says I look like Paul Newman . No, seriously, I've never been told I look like someone in particular though apparently I did have a doppelganger in my old neighborhood. |

Um, yeah. If you're submitting a six-pack don't answer it in the first post, as everyone will want to copy/paste it to add in their answers.
Amateur. What is your favourite road trip destination? Never went on a road trip, unless you count that time I tripped on the Oscar Traynor Road and nearly smashed all my front teeth. What is your favourite comfort food? Gimme a C, gimme an H, gimme an O - hell, just gimme CHOCOLATE!!! Who is on your "must see live" bucket list? Nobody now as I never will get to go to another gig, but I'd like to have seen Waits and ELO. When is the last time you wrote a letter to someone? Written as in with a pen, or as in typed on computer and printed? I wrote a letter to my bank (the latter way) to try to recover the money I had been scammed out of in 2019. I think they have it framed on the wall and look at it when they need a laugh. Written letter? God knows. I was never one for writing letters, even postcards. Which album in your collection are you embarrassed to show anyone? None, as I have no-one to show them to. Were you ever told you look like a celeb? If so, who? No, but when I grew a beard I was told I looked like a Palestinian terrorist!

What is your favourite road trip destination?
Well I've only been afforded the opportunity to road trip to a couple of destinations, and both take somewhat similar routes, but I'd have to say my favorite trip was to the Grand Canyon as the others were for deaths and births and weddings. What is your favourite comfort food? Any form of potato Who is on your "must see live" bucket list? I got to cross Brian Wilson and Al Jardine off this list earlier this summer. My feelings about the sanctity of live performances and my experiencing of them as a fan have changed a lot as I've gotten older. There are a number of hiphop artists I'd like to see yet, and some contemporary composers, but in terms of "favorite bands" I can't think of one. I'd be happy to only see Shabazz Palaces live for the rest of my life tbh. Quality over quantity. When is the last time you wrote a letter to someone? Similarly to m_c, I wrote a letter to my estranged grandfather after my brother died and shortly before he died himself. When my estranged grandmother was dying everyone told me I would regret it if I didn't try to make amends, but I decided against it. I still don't regret it, but it did leave me curious about what could have been. When I wrote to my grandfather, he wrote back, and it became clear that my intuitions were correct and I'm better off protecting myself from all of my namesake. Which album in your collection are you embarrassed to show anyone? I would never consider it embarrassing but I have a horrible John Travolta record from 1976. Plus a bunch of just awful dollar bin folk albums. Were you ever told you look like a celeb? If so, who? I get Drew Barrymore a lot. Specifically from Firestarter. I think it's the big eyes and slight lisp. |

What is your favourite road trip destination?
I've taken so many to so many places over so many years but I can't pick a single destination as a favorite. Most of the time I enjoy being on the road more than I enjoy reaching a destination. What is your favourite comfort food? Beer. Who is on your "must see live" bucket list? I've been lucky enough to have had the chance to see all the musicians and bands I always wanted to see perform live (except the ones who died or broke up before I had the chance to see them) so my live music bucket list has already been fulfilled. When is the last time you wrote a letter to someone? On paper it was probably some time in the early 80's. Via email it was probably some time last week. Which album in your collection are you embarrassed to show anyone? My only lapse in album buying judgment was in 1975 when I bought a copy of 'Alive!' by Kiss. Were you ever told you look like a celeb? If so, who? 30 years ago an older woman I was spending some time with told me I reminded her of Peter Lorre. I don't look anything like him, though. |

What is your favourite road trip destination?
I've never really taken a road trip in the classic sense but I'd like to do so, especially in the US What is your favourite comfort food? burritos Who is on your "must see live" bucket list? I don't have any musician I absolutely must see When is the last time you wrote a letter to someone? I think about 2 years ago, to my old housemate after I moved to England Which album in your collection are you embarrassed to show anyone? none Were you ever told you look like a celeb? If so, who? My mom once said I looked like Ali McGraw when we were watching Love Story and maybe there are others that I've forgotten but the one that stands out because it was so ridiculous was when I was about 13, and some girl in my class said I looked like Lauren Conrad. Even at that age I was like 'this girl is so full of ****'. Lauren Conrad isn't even really good looking ffs
