Yeah, that's a fitting comic strip.

I'm confused to what date we are up to so to catch up for the 13th:

1. What's your current eargasm?
2. Are you creative? And in what types of ways?
3. What is your most memorable moment from your time on MB?
4. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?
5. Are you drinking enough water?
6. Do you collect? If so, what?

1. What's your current eargasm?

Anything from Goose.

2. Are you creative? And in what types of ways?

I have to create, or I'll cease to exist.

3. What is your most memorable moment from your time on MB?

This one. Early onset Alzheimer's is a bitch.

4. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?

I thought I witnessed something, but it was just some chumps trying to make money with a camera, bad acting, and spooky lighting.

5. Are you drinking enough water?

I haven't dried up yet, so I guess I'm doing ok.

6. Do you collect? If so, what?

Discs. Mostly Discraft Zones and all kinds of mini's, but I have lots of limited edition runs of different types. I've tapered off quite a bit the last year or so though.

Spoiler for old pics:

1. What's your current eargasm?

Going through my Rush Sector box sets has been an awesome listening journey. The fact it annoys my wife makes it even better.

2. Are you creative? And in what types of ways?

I'm not creative in terms of artsy stuff. I can be creative when it comes to solving problems. I'm not MacGyver though.

3. What is your most memorable moment from your time on MB?

I haven't been on for long. I'd say it was the reaction to my first album club nomination. Can't win 'em all.

4. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?

I get them at work all the time. When I ask, people look at me as though I'm from another planet.

5. Are you drinking enough water?

My doctor said I should be getting close to 4L of water per day. I'm hovering around the 3.5L mark. I'll have to answer "almost enough".

6. Do you collect? If so, what?

I collect CDs. My head collects grey hair.

1. What's your current eargasm?

Currently revisiting a discographic chronology of GoGo Penguin.

2. Are you creative? And in what types of ways?

I was a songwriter, lead guitarist, and vocalist in college. Then I was a graphic designer for 18 years. My latest creative effort was penning a 1,715pp survey of articles I've written over the past 12 years spanning 20th century analog classicism to contemporary digital modernity.

3. What is your most memorable moment from your time on MB?

I've received some delightful praise over the years for my efforts in this community. A few favorite remarks are in my comment signature.

4. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?

I have not. I'm an atheist and rational skeptic.

5. Are you drinking enough water?

I drink twelve glasses of water a day on average.

6. Do you collect? If so, what?

Ravenously. Here are a few of my largest digital collections.

A few years ago I built a server called "RetroBox" with complete broadcast archives of all 227 children's TV shows that aired between 1965 and 2005. I plan to intersperse the episodes with vintage commercials. It was a child of the 80s passion project.

I also have several thousand rare LPs, a complete filmographic library of everything Jim Henson ever produced, along with an array of vintage Muppet collectibles and other collections on display around my home.

My decor is also a collection of sorts. My home is fully-furnished in a marriage of Victorian classicism and 20th century minimalism. The two may seem incongruous and diametrically opposed, but I've managed to find harmony between them. And despite my passion for collecting, I maintain a very tidy and sparsely-furnished living space. I don't let my collections own me.

1. What's your current eargasm?

Today, it was mostly Frank Zappa's Uncle Rhemus as I found a video of a guy playing it very well on piano.

2. Are you creative? And in what types of ways?

Years back, I would channel a lot of creativity into world building etc. for tabletop RPGs. I'd program various random generators in php for fun, create characters. I also made my own gaming system and setting. I used to GM/DM ofc.

I did arts in our equivalent of high school. I used to draw a lot. Now that doesn't really happen. I greatly appreciate visual arts, though, and love a nice art gallery.

And I also make music. I'm no virtuoso, but I can play a decent range of instruments and know my way around a daw, so that makes me relatively flexible. I have a small recording studio at home. A couple / few times a year, I play concerts with our folk band.

3. What is your most memorable moment from your time on MB?

Delving deeper into prog with Boo, Comus and Anteater in particular. We made the ABC&T presents your introduction to prog rock thread which is probably an embarrassing mess, but I felt like truly part of a community back then. It was new and exciting.

4. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?

I thought I did and tried kidding myself. I wanted to believe. I had a late 90s wicca phase and tried my hand at stuff like ritual magic and being an idiot. It's a little embarrassing to think back on, but ironically, it helped turn me into a proper skeptic.

5. Are you drinking enough water?

Coffee is mostly water, so I'm probably good.

6. Do you collect? If so, what?

I collect aztec death flutes, but I admittedly only have three so far.

1. What's your current eargasm?

2. Are you creative? And in what types of ways?

Yes, in terms of program solutions. In terms of imagination. In terms of expressive writing.

3. What is your most memorable moment from your time on MB?

Reading the Urban 100. Reaching out to boo boo on LastFM and convincing her to come back. A large part of my entire music taste was shaped by this site and I'll be forever grateful.

4. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?

Nope. My wife has though. I don't believe her.

5. Are you drinking enough water?

How much water is in beer?

6. Do you collect? If so, what?[/QUOTE]

I collect vinyl - I used to collect books. I have a massive collection of each. I'm still on a mission to read a leatherbound biography of each US president.
