You crazy man. BLTs are the most overrated sandwich. I mean, they can be okay if you have thick cut bacon and smother it with mayo so it isn't dry but you'd have to be a madman to shell out money at a restaurant for a BLT in lieu of other sandwiches.

1. What’s your favorite sandwich?

My local indie coffeehouse serves a dish called a "Mike's Sandwich." It's two pan-fried eggs with bacon, melted provolone, and cream cheese served on your choice of bagel, English muffin, or focaccia bread. It's my favorite dish on planet Earth.

2. What’s the one thing you own that you should really throw out?

My home is a marriage of neoclassical antiquity and 20th century minimalism. They may seem incongruous and diametrically opposed, but I've managed to find harmony between them in my decor. As such, not an inch of space is wasted.

3. What is the scariest animal?

Man. No other beast is nearly as destructive.

4. Have you ever asked someone for an autograph? If so, from whom?

I approached George Clinton after a show with a picture disc of Parliament Funkadelic's debut LP, Osmium. He lifted his sunglasses and grinned, happy to see a young fan with the release. He kindly signed it for me.

5. What is the most used app on your phone?

The Google suite of apps are central to my productivity. I average 24 calendar events daily, drafting my articles and process guides in thousands of Google Docs and spreadsheets, and manage smaller tasks in Google Keep.

I also use media server access points from various FOSS application forks on all my web-enabled devices to provide instantaneous access to hundreds of thousands of films, music, and more from my archive.

6. Describe the rest of your life in five words?

Near-constant state of panic attack.

I'm pretty good at throwing things out that are past their best before date. I can't think of anything. I'm sure my wife can come up with at least 2000 things (my CDs).

German shepherds (I've been bitten by two of them)

Definitely. I have a bunch of hockey cards and books signed by former players, from Vladislav Tretiak to Maurice Richard. I have CDs signed by Daniel Victor (Neverending White Lights), and Matthew Good.

I'm a papapaparazzi, so the photos app is my most frequently used one.

Better late than never (couldn't figure out a fifth word to add)

I live in a small apartment and I move every few months—I'm pretty good at trimming down unnecessary stuff. I'm frugal with upgrading my wardrobe though, and there are a few old shirts that I should really toss.
