1. Who’s your favourite Muppet?
2. What was your first home like (that you can remember)? Next to a swamp. 3. What, currently, is your main or preferred mode of experiencing music? My ears. 4. What was the last gig you attended? I played for some friends the other night. 5. Would you rather take a trip on an old sailing ship, a steam train, or neither? As long as I can drive, lets do both. 6. How organised are you, in general? Right now, not very.

Cookie Monster 2. What was your first home like (that you can remember)? It was a two apartment rowhome. We lived downstairs and we also had the basement. That's where the kitchen was strangely enough. My parents rented out from my Grandparents. My Dad mostly grew up in that house. 3. What, currently, is your main or preferred mode of experiencing music? Amazon Music. I do miss vinyl though. 4. What was the last gig you attended? Man, that's been so long, probably REM in 1995. 5. Would you rather take a trip on an old sailing ship, a steam train, or neither? Doesn't matter; both have their advantages. 6. How organised are you, in general? I'm a mixed bag. The important stuff I keep organized but mostly, I tend to be pretty sloppy.

Kermit or Grover 2. What was your first home like (that you can remember)? A floor of a typical Amsterdam house very close to the old Heineken factory, which was very nice 3. What, currently, is your main or preferred mode of experiencing music? My music library on my computer or youtube 4. What was the last gig you attended? Billie Eilish 2 days ago. I normally don't go to big mass concerts but a friend took me. The concert itself was fun 5. Would you rather take a trip on an old sailing ship, a steam train, or neither? A ship because I like train rides but a steam train pollutes too much 6. How organised are you, in general? Lol I'm a mess

Kermit rocks. 2. What was your first home like (that you can remember)? 2 bedroom apartment in a walk-up building in Queens, NY. 3. What, currently, is your main or preferred mode of experiencing music? Almost always through headphones, via the stereo or YouTube. 4. What was the last gig you attended? Walter Lure in 2018. 5. Would you rather take a trip on an old sailing ship, a steam train, or neither? Steam train, which seems old-fashioned and romantic to me (and I have nice memories of riding the mini- Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch steam railway near my cousins' home in England). I find sailing and boating kind of boring for some reason. 6. How organised are you, in general? I would describe myself as extremely meticulous rather than super-organized. I'm not too concerned with the order of things, but I'm incredibly attentive to detail. (Is anal-retentive supposed to have a hyphen? lol) |

1. Who’s your favourite Muppet?Statler and Waldorf (so funny!)
2. What was your first home like (that you can remember)? It looked like what we call here a 'state home' but had big rooms and colourful walls. I remember it had a massive section which my dad turned into his greatest garden project with tons of vegetables and other plants. He built a big fence around our section and I recall a massive hedge that I helped him trim (when I was old enough). We had two black and white cats:Pippin (from LOTR's) who was short haired lots of black on his back and Jaffa (a big white fluffy cat who had three black spots on his back. Jaffa was the most useless hunter and used one brain cell. Pippin was a good hunter and I would rescue cute little geckos from him plus he peed in my tent which had to be chucked out lol. One day a giant rat go through the cat door and instead of catching it both cats were crying, screaming, throwing up, being utterly unhelpful. I witnessed dad coming towards the rat with a hammer, the rat jumped into dads woolen hat hanging on a hook and he smashed the hammer onto the hat, killing the rat in the process. Dad was born and raised on a farm which is why it didn't phase him. I miss that house! 3. What, currently, is your main or preferred mode of experiencing music? Through my headphones and my Alexa. 4. What was the last gig you attended? Midnight Oil 5. Would you rather take a trip on an old sailing ship, a steam train, or neither? A sailing ship, for sure. I've already been on one and it's so much fun! 6. How organised are you, in general? What they call, organised chaos.

1. Who’s your favourite Muppet?
There can be only one. 2. What was your first home like (that you can remember)? I was brought up in my late aunt's home in East Wall, down near the Dublin docks (so much so that there is a pub down the road called the Wharf Tavern). It had a fantastic back garden with the most incredible profusion of flowers - my aunt was an amazing gardener - and I think also vegetables, maybe onions and carrots. The flower I always remember is the lupin, tall as myself (at about 8/9 years) and something called London Pride. There was a swing and a broken-down garage which was a death-trap, so of course we spent a lot of time in there. Inside there was an old sidecar, but no motorbike. The neighbour's apple trees overhung our garden and every so often apples would just drop off the branches and land in our garden among the flowers set against the wall. My ma used to make the most gorgeous apple tarts with them. Standing in the garden you could look over to the left and see the church bell tower looming over you, and of course the bells rang out loudly, making this one of my favourite sounds, the other being that of trains. Walking outside you could look up the road and watch the trains trundle over the bridge on their way into or out of the city. The sound at night was so soothing. A short walk up the road (10 mins or so) was Fairview Park, which you entered by crossing a bridge over the river, which was usually populated with large swans and ducks. You could stand on the bridge and watch the ducks or swans float towards you, vanish for a moment under the bridge and then (if you ran to the other side) watch them float back out. We used to drop bits of bread down for them. I really miss East Wall. We moved out when I was about 10 I think. 3. What, currently, is your main or preferred mode of experiencing music? Anything from my hard drive using probably VLC player, or else YouTube. DOWN WITH SPOTIFY! 4. What was the last gig you attended? Years and years ago. Think it might have been Peter Gabriel's Secret World Tour, about 1990? 5. Would you rather take a trip on an old sailing ship, a steam train, or neither? I don't do well at sea, but I think I'd like to try the sailing ship anyway. I've done the steam engine though I was very young when we went on one. 6. How organised are you, in general? Now where did I put next week's questions???

1. Who’s your favourite Muppet?
My favourite childhood book was "The Monster At The End Of This Book". Grover is #1. 2. What was your first home like (that you can remember)? My folks were still teens when I came on the scene. I spent most of my time with my grandparents. They lived in a small duplex. The house was within a stone's throw of a copper mine. I learned what sulfur was before I knew what the periodic table was. 3. What, currently, is your main or preferred mode of experiencing music? It's my little Sony boombox (CD player). The CD is king in my house. There are no streaming subscriptions to be seen. 4. What was the last gig you attended? I saw what passes for a Canadian supergroup - Saint Asonia. It was a good show. That was a month ago. 5. Would you rather take a trip on an old sailing ship, a steam train, or neither? Put me on an old sailing ship. My father would do all of the handling and navigation. 6. How organised are you, in general? I have room for improvement. I organize as well as can be expected with two youngin's in the house. They turn whatever order I create to chaos. |
