As I said, the various neuron and ion exchanges that happen under the influence of, for instance,

of those interactions. Describing the physical act of shoving a large kitchen knife into someone's stomach
and stating that the result would more than likely be a scream is not solely describing a mental process.

But it's all a physical process because the mind is physical and therefore everything you experience or imagine is the self.

i already said that suggesting you have a drink is more of a mock suggestion than actual advice.

it sounds like you are basically just against the idea of having a chemical alter your mind from what i can tell... Which doesn't mean you actually know much if anything about how that experience would actually change your perspective. An inherent trade off for abstaining from something completely is you will by definition have a rather limited perspective on it. Reading a scientific description of the processes involved is of limited value and will never quite bridge that experiential gap imo.

Well, we’re gonna have to disagree there, because I don’t think the mind is physical. The mind is the resulting essence of the brain’s physical interactions.

Ah, OK, so it was basically meaningless mocking.

Yes, that would be correct and not in conflict with anything I've already said.

Yeah, I'm OK with that because it's damn near an impossibility to know everything about everything.

It has a differing value and, so yes, what's the final point of the argument here?
That you can never know things unless you have both the knowledge of its workings and
the actual experience of it? Yeah, well hot damn! I'm glad I don't know what a heart attack is!

So the emergent result of physical processes is metaphysical? Do you want to talk astrology next?

You know the only real problem with drinking I'm willing to acknowledge is that when you have to wake up early for work but you want to unwind with a couple beers by the end of those beers you're gonna want another beer and by the end of that beer you're like "**** you, clock, you don't know my life!"

So that's my problem with clocks.

Wow. Let's just pull out of the ass some new topics to keep this going won't we?
I could have you point to the exact location of your mind - what's it in-between?
or is it just lodged up against something else "physical," but ineffable?
...but, really? Let's stop this stupid gotcha game that you're so enamored with.
