I loooooovelovelovelove Howards End. Masterpiece. I should revisit A room with a view.

And of course Maurice has a special place in my heart for obvious reasons.

That's nice, adidasss! Yes, I can imagine you would like Maurice! I thought the film and book were both good, but I'm with you on Howards End. It is my favourite of all his novels, being more dense and slow-moving than the others.
Shout out too for Passage To India, afaik the first Ivory-Merchant adaptation of an EMForster book. For me, perhaps the best of the movies, because of the exotic locations.

1.. Who is/are your favourite director(s) (max 3)?

Ridley Scott, David Lynch, John Carpenter

2. What's the worst sequel you've ever seen?

The Mask 2. Many sequels are terrible in general though, so hard to pick just one.

3. Who in the movie business do you think does not get the credit they deserve?

Wings Hauser. Dude is talented as hell, crazier than Nic Cage ever was yet hardly anyone talks about him.

4. What genre do you believe Hollywood has overdone at this point?

Hard tie between superhero fare and stuff with an excessive socially conscious emphasis. They're both cash cows that have been overmilked to the point.

5. What book would you like to see made into a movie?

The Light Is The Darkness by Laird Barron, or perhaps Gun With Occasional Music by Jonathan Lethem.

6. Name three of your favourite, and three of your least favourite movies?

Favs - Blade Runner, The Seventh Seal and Satomi Hakken-den

Least Favs - Transformers (plus the sequels), FTT: Jason Takes Manhattan, The Number 23

1. What sort of computer do you own (Laptop/Tablet/Desktop etc/Brand/specs if you want/general description)?

Dell.

2. How long, roughly, have you had some sort of a computer?

8 years.

3. What do you use your computer for, mostly?

Business and human interaction.

4. How often, if at all, do you upgrade/replace your system?

Hardly ever, once every 3 years.

5. If you had the money, what's one thing you would replace on your computer?

RAM.

6. Roughly, how many hours a day do you spend staring at that screen?

11.

7. Name three applications you really can't do without on your computer?

Chrome, Word, and Excel.

8. What was the first ever operating system you used?

Windows Vista.

9. Generally, do you buy from a shop/seller or build yourself?

Shop. The day I can build my own computer is the day I stop caring about other people entirely.

10. What is, in your opinion, the most useless piece of software on your computer?

I guess Microsoft Sharepoint? What even is that?

11. What was the most valuable (to you) data wiped from your hard disk, either by a sudden crash, virus or power failure, or whatever?

I once had a Criminal Justice final essay go down. At least it was not one of my law papers.

12. If you could digitise yourself and go into a game, what character would you be?

Luigi, everyone wants to be Mario.

My company still runs an ancient version of Sharepoint on an old Windows 2003 server. It's an absolute mess. And yet there would be chaos and uproar if it was unavailable for a day.

For all I know, at 4 I could have seen United winning the European cup in 1999. That would have been a highlight.

What, you all thought we could just let this die?

1. What would you do if you found a dead body in a hotel room?

2. Are you, or have you ever been a shy pooper?

3. What's the absolute worst album you've ever listened to?

4. Do you believe in Bigfoot? Why or why not?

5. What is the ideal way to die?

6. How many hours would you estimate you've spent on MusicBanter? If you could have all that time back right now, would you still spend it on MusicBanter or something else?

Probably be inconsolable for several minutes, then call the cops.

2. Are you, or have you ever been a shy pooper?
Yes and yes.

3. What's the absolute worst album you've ever listened to?
Recess

4. Do you believe in Bigfoot? Why or why not?
No. Some grainy photos isn't proof of anything when we have GPS.

5. What is the ideal way to die?
Probably from some inoperable benign tumor. Something that's painless, could happen at any time, but you're aware of it.

6. How many hours would you estimate you've spent on MusicBanter? If you could have all that time back right now, would you still spend it on MusicBanter or something else?
Probably like 1 whole day, idk. I'd still spend it here, well maybe not all of it knowing what I know now.
