Don't underestimate my computer illiteracy, to me a computer is like a magic box which is an indivisible whole, I'm completely blind to the parts that it's made up of. The more informed answers here sound like abracadabra to me

1. What sort of computer do you own (Laptop/Tablet/Desktop etc/Brand/specs if you want/general description)?
I have 2 low end Win10 boxes and a HP G3 3590 Laptop with maxed out RAM that I use for graphics work and general home use. For CAD I have a Ryzen Threadripper 2950x CPU with a Zotec RTX 2080ti GPU and 32G RAM running Win10. 2. How long, roughly, have you had some sort of a computer? I got a Commodore 64 for Xmas in 1982. Thanks Dad! 3. What do you use your computer for, mostly? Work work work work 4. How often, if at all, do you upgrade/replace your system? As often as possible, but $$ is a factor so I try to keep a good balance of up to date tech and it's shelf life usefulness. 5. If you had the money, what's one thing you would replace on your computer? I'd love to run bridged 3080's, which is probably gonna happen soon. Awww yeah. 6. Roughly, how many hours a day do you spend staring at that screen? Enough to make my eyes suck back into my skull. 7. Name three applications you really can't do without on your computer? AutoDesk AEC, Adobe Creative Suite (every app contained within those packages), and Twinmotion. 8. What was the first ever operating system you used? BASIC 2.0, which was 'basically' DOS on 5.25 floppy's. 9. Generally, do you buy from a shop/seller or build yourself? A little of both. I'll grab a low end shell with a good CPU and beef it up. I've never gone full on build mode but if I had the moolah, oh boy. 10. What is, in your opinion, the most useless piece of software on your computer? I get rid of anything not useful. I keep a clean house. It's a good habit to pick up. 11. What was the most valuable (to you) data wiped from your hard disk, either by a sudden crash, virus or power failure, or whatever? Nothing recently. Being a CAD Manager, you have to know the importance of automatic saves and backing up, and not just in one place, but I've learned some valuable lessons long ago about all of that. Days (about a week) of work lost because of HD failure. 12. If you could digitize yourself and go into a game, what character would you be? Leisure Suit Larry

1. Who is/are your favourite director(s) (max 3)?
I'm not enough of a movie buff to bother having favorite directors but Stephen Spielberg's visual storytelling ability is pretty unparalleled. I mean Jurassic Park, Jaws, and Saving Private Ryan are all some of my favorite movies and I couldn't picture anyone else executing them the same way. 2. What's the worst sequel you've ever seen? I don't know, the Starship Trooper sequels are super lame compared to the original. 3. Who in the movie business do you think does not get the credit they deserve? Film nerds like to **** on Spielberg for some legit reasons but act like his strengths aren't relevant to the conversation. 4. What genre do you believe Hollywood has overdone at this point? They overdo everything they don't underdo so I'll subvert the question and say they need more fantasy movies. 5. What book would you like to see made into a movie? Let's see that Guillermo Deltorro adaptation of At the Mountains of Madness that never happened. 6. Name three of your favourite, and three of your least favourite movies? Empire Strikes Back, Alien, and Executioners from Shaolin are great but the new Star Wars trilogy can suck my dick.

1. Who is/are your favourite director(s) (max 3)?
Akira Kurosawa and Lukas Moodysson 2. What's the worst sequel you've ever seen? I really don't know, I don't watch many of those. Maybe Ginger Snaps 2 but I didn't give it a proper chance 3. Who in the movie business do you think does not get the credit they deserve? I don't know, but shout out to Melanie Lynskey in Heavenly Creatures because I feel like Kate Winslet got most of the attention there because she became so famous 4. What genre do you believe Hollywood has overdone at this point? Those bloody superhero movies 5. What book would you like to see made into a movie? I don't really care about book adaptations and if I do (I like a good Jane Austen adaptation) they've already been done. I'm kind of interested in the new series of His Dark Materials 6. Name three of your favourite, and three of your least favourite movies? Favourite: Fanny and Alexander, Seven Samurai, Ghost World (contenders: Heathers, Daisies (a psychedelic Chech film from the 60s, which in fact doesn't get the credit it deserves I think) and Show Me Love) Least favourite: any Woody Allen film I've seen, one of those romcoms with Sarah Jessica Parker which I've banished from memory, and I really don't remember the names of any other awful ones so let's just include Ghost Busters here because it's overrated and people need to realise that
