Ah it's all in good fun. Not like we Irish hold grudges....

So...

(After all that I'm late but however)

This week's theme is Do you walk on the wild side?

1. What's the craziest/most dangerous thing you've ever done?

2. What crazy thing would you never contemplate doing?

3. What's the longest you ever went without sleep, why and how did you feel after it? No that's not three questions, it's one question with three parts.

4. What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?

5. How far would you/do you go to be the life of the party?

6. Ever had a run-in with Larry Law? If so, how bad was it?

1. What's the craziest/most dangerous thing you've ever done?

Work during a pandemic.

2. What crazy thing would you never contemplate doing?

Bungee jumping. At least skydiving would have a slow descent and an amazing view to appreciate.

3. What's the longest you ever went without sleep, why and how did you feel after it? No that's not three questions, it's one question with three parts.

No more than 48 hours and I felt like a slug.

4. What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?

Never eaten anything crazy hot but I've definitely misjudged my tolerance for habanero to hot sauce.

5. How far would you/do you go to be the life of the party?

I talk as little as possible and try to make eye contact as little as possible. Until I'm drunk enough and then I will not shut up.

6. Ever had a run-in with Larry Law? If so, how bad was it?

I got stopped by the fuzz for running a stop sign I didn't see and tried to low key outrun them cause they were on a bicycle but it didn't work and I got charged with reckless driving.

Another time me and The Boys were high in my car and got pulled over after I was too dumb to properly operate a gas pump and I guess someone called the cops, but nothing happened cause I was able to keep it together while talking to the cop.

1. What's the craziest/most dangerous thing you've ever done?
I don't know, probably accidentally endangering myself because I'm oblivious. Maybe the one time I accidentally almost ran into a ravine and my school's PE teacher had to snatch me away from it
2. What crazy thing would you never contemplate doing?

um many things? I decided I'll never do psychedelics because of my childhood history of mental freakouts
3. What's the longest you ever went without sleep, why and how did you feel after it? No that's not three questions, it's one question with three parts.
I guess 36 hours or something. This was on a vacation with friends when I was 17, we had to catch an early flight back home and decided to skip sleep that night so we went out and of course one of my friends decided to get blackout drunk and her passport got stolen. A few hours before she needed it for the flight. So one of us took her to the police and it was chaos. I felt tired.
4. What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?
I got this random jar of chili shrimp stuff at the local Chinese supermarket because I was curious what it was. The first time I used it I threw two tablespoons of it in my stir-fry without checking and the spiciness was absolutely infernal. It tastes good though, I just need to use 1/2 of a teaspoon.
5. How far would you/do you go to be the life of the party?
I can be the life of a party and do weird dumb things when I get in a happy hyperactive mood, but not with the goal of being the center of attention. When I get hyper everything suddenly just seems like a good idea. I do dumb **** in order to make people laugh though. And tbh I very much have that dorky immature boy tendency of doing dumb things to try to impress girls. I have fond memories of the time I crashed through a ceiling (although that wasn't at a party).
6. Ever had a run-in with Larry Law? If so, how bad was it?
Not really, just being stopped for traffic misbehaviour (the routine of a cyclist in Amsterdam). There was one time when I was 16, I went back home from a night out with friends and we took some back alley and a group of drunk Germans started harassing my friend and wouldn't let her go. So I started screaming the German swear words I knew at them and that summoned the police. Never been so glad to see them.

1. What's the craziest/most dangerous thing you've ever done?

Hm...I smoked a joint with a bible page once. The ink was disgusting. I didn't think about that at the time. I've gone skydiving. Went diving with sharks (in a cage though).

2. What crazy thing would you never contemplate doing?

Doing heroin.

3. What's the longest you ever went without sleep, why and how did you feel after it? No that's not three questions, it's one question with three parts.

Probably a couple days. I was partying. My mind was wired though. Afterwards I felt tired.

4. What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?

The Death Nut. I puked my guts out after eating it.

5. How far would you/do you go to be the life of the party?

I get really drunk and moon people. I can still DJ though even when I'm zooted - most of the time.

6. Ever had a run-in with Larry Law? If so, how bad was it?[/QUOTE]

Besides being pulled over for dumb ****, no I have not

1. What's the craziest/most dangerous thing you've ever done?
Driving on the autobahn, listening to Kraftwerk, doing 134 mph/215 km/h while taking a picture of the speedometer.

3. What's the longest you ever went without sleep, why and how did you feel after it?
Three days. I was determined to finish a piece of music for solo bass (w/optional electronics) that had a deadline approaching. The strange thing is that nearly all of it had already been written 2 years before. Recently, I was sleepless for nearly the same amount of time after I found out that my girlfriend (just before I met my wife) had recently been murdered by Chicago cops. Both reached hallucination stage.

4. What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?
About 40 years ago, I discovered that Thai green peppers were hotter than red ones. I basically treated it like a bell pepper and thought I was gonna die because I couldn’t catch my breath.

5. How far would you/do you go to be the life of the party?
I don't make a conscious attempt. I just like it when the music is fun and loud. I’m an ...ummm... exuberant dancer who eventually ends up dancing on your furniture.

6. Ever had a run-in with Larry Law? If so, how bad was it?
TMI, so I’ll spare you, but after the cops forced me off the road and then proceeded to ram their car into the side of mine (after I had already stopped) and then approached me with guns drawn, yanked me out of the car, threw me to the ground, handcuffed me and thru me into the back of a paddy wagon, it became a searing memory.

I'm sorry for your loss man. Those stories are a horrifying illustration of the police issues

1. What's the craziest/most dangerous thing you've ever done?
dunno there's been a bunch of wreck less moments but the one that stands out I guess it's when I had this minor accident with a cop and then when I learned he was a cop I drove off

Like I was pulled up behind him in the parking lot after I hit his car and I pretended I was gonna get my insurance and registrations or whatever but really slowly put the car into drive, turned the wheel all the way to the right, let of the break and peeled off. It was dense traffic too so I had to drive in the wrong lane and send run a couple red lights to get away. After making a couple turns I was driving so fast that when I came to an unexpected turn I actually went off the road and had to slam on the brakes and back up back onto the road and drive away

Then I just went home thinking the gas station prolly had cameras and they got my license plate etc and would be picking me up soon. They never came.

2. What crazy thing would you never contemplate doing?
skateboarding

3. What's the longest you ever went without sleep, why and how did you feel after it? No that's not three questions, it's one question with three parts.
2 days or so.... Drugs.... Afterwards I felt tired. Amazing 3 part question th.

4. What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?
East coast wings had one of those wings that are so hot it's some sorta challenge or whatever. Ate that. Was not pleasant.

5. How far would you/do you go to be the life of the party?
this far

6. Ever had a run-in with Larry Law? If so, how bad was it?

1. What's the craziest/most dangerous thing you've ever done?

Back in the 1980's I once drove a cargo van packed from floor to ceiling with fireworks, from Ohio (where I legally purchased them) to Massachusetts (where they were illegal.) Made sure everything on the van was in good working order, made sure to drive the speed limit, and hoped no one hit us in traffic.

2. What crazy thing would you never contemplate doing?

Too many to list here but anything involving climbing or hiking at great heights without a harness and/or safety net would probably be at the top of my list.

3. What's the longest you ever went without sleep, why and how did you feel after it? No that's not three questions, it's one question with three parts.

I used to occasionally go for two or three days without sleep during drug & alcohol fueled weekends back in my wild, party-animal days. Always felt wrecked & burned out afterwards

4. What is the hottest thing you have ever eaten?

Scotch bonnet pepper. Extremely Hot!

5. How far would you/do you go to be the life of the party?

I've never cared about being "the life of the party" and I doubt if I ever will.

6. Ever had a run-in with Larry Law? If so, how bad was it?

Excluding traffic stops for speeding or equipment violations, I got arrested three times for boozing it up when I was under the legal age to drink alcohol. Spent a few hours in jail each time, went to court by myself (without a lawyer) and plead "not guilty but admit to sufficient facts" and got a small fine from the judge each time.
