Uh so maybe not quite as impactful as Hitler in your opinion but still in the same league in terms of being massive historical figures... None of whom you guys picked which tells me you just weren't thinking historically which would have been a better rebuttal instead of trying to make a special "hitler doesn't count" rule lol

If the argument is that Hitler is too mainstream you guys still lose for not picking a smaller but still evil dictator like mussolini or mugabe etc

Seriously though, it was never 'Hitler doesn't count' but rather 'hugely impactful historical figures we don't primarily think of as politicians don't count' so that's not that far off from what you suggest

Hitler literally set up an industrialized killing machine that killed millions the way a modern day factory pumps out x number of widgets

Like the Soviets and Chinese had higher numbers but that was largely down to destructive policies which lead to mass starvation. Hitler and the Nazis are somewhat unique in that they not only killed a bunch of people but literally went out of their way to do so. Even towards the end of the war when resources were scarce and it didn't make as much sense to put so much energy into the death camps... They literally prioritized killing their captives over the war effort. That's a special kind of evil.

Because I'm playing lesbian mind games obviously. I didn't claim most of those things but as a matter of fact at least to Europeans and Americans Hitler is one of a kind. That isn't mutually exclusive with the rest of my point.
