This week's theme is TIME.
1. If you could live in any other era, or the future, which would it be and why? 2. Thinking back to your childhood, what is your happiest memory? 3. Name three good and three bad things about this era for you. 4. If you could go back in time, what event in your past would you change? 5. If money were no object, what kind of watch would you like to own, or are watches gay? 6. What is, generally, your favourite time of day (or night) and why?

1. If you could live in any other era, or the future, which would it be and why?
Far enough into the future where time travel has been invented and I can bring people there from the past to show them how right I am in various petty abstract arguments. 2. Thinking back to your childhood, what is your happiest memory? Not sure really. One that comes to mind mainly because it's vivid is waking up earlier or later than usual when I was really young. I left my room and walked down the hallway, glowing with arizonan morning sunlight. Coming into the kitchen, I saw my mom doing dishes while my uncle and grandma sat at the table. They were all happy to see me and it was a hella wholesome time. 3. Name three good and three bad things about this era for you. Good: increased access to information, good weed, the ability for what would once be a set of isolated individuals to become a thriving (non-hateful) niche Bad: climate change, selfishness, new waters of propaganda 4. If you could go back in time, what event in your past would you change? Pass. 5. If money were no object, what kind of watch would you like to own, or are watches gay? A lightweight bronze pocketwatch, with kewl patterns n ****. 6. What is, generally, your favourite time of day (or night) and why? I like the part of sunrise where the sun's not very high up and oblique golden rays shine sideways. On cloudy days it usually illuminates the clouds instead before going back to gray as it rises higher.

Roman empire. I'm totally obsessed with seeing what my island looked like during that time (there are remains of roman villas and basilicas). I guess I'm just fascinated that they were so sophisticated so long ago. Hope to see Pompei one day and trip out. 2. Thinking back to your childhood, what is your happiest memory? Nothing specific, just summers in the 80s when life was good, we had our restaurant, there was plenty of tourists, we had money and life seemed to be bathed in golden sunlight. Summer nights playing with friends in the streets outside my house. Summer rains. Then the war came and I woke the fuck up. 3. Name three good and three bad things about this era for you. Pass. 4. If you could go back in time, what event in your past would you change? With the caveat that everything else would remain the same and bring me to where I am today, I would probably chose to go to a language oriented highschool instead of the math one. That's the only thing I kind of regret. 5. If money were no object, what kind of watch would you like to own, or are watches gay? Watches may be gay, but I don't fancy them. My partner does. I don't get men's obsession with this. It has been explained to me it's the one piece of jewelry men can have. I'm not a big aesthete so it's lost on me. 6. What is, generally, your favourite time of day (or night) and why? Morning. The day is beginning, full of possibilities.

The past would have me killed and the future is too uncertain so I'm good. 2. Thinking back to your childhood, what is your happiest memory? Summer vacations as a child. Specifically the summer I spent in Canada when I was 12. Hiking through the rocky mountains, camping in the woods, meeting really cool people. 3. Name three good and three bad things about this era for you. Good: the internet, relative freedom where I grew up, interesting developments about gender and sexuality among young people. Bad: climate change, recent rise of fascism (at least that's what it feels like) economic crises 4. If you could go back in time, what event in your past would you change? I'd waste less time in my teens being demotivated and trying to fit in 5. If money were no object, what kind of watch would you like to own, or are watches gay? Wtf to the second part, but I'd like to own a simple but elegant antique watch 6. What is, generally, your favourite time of day (or night) and why? Sunset

She's appropriating temporal displacement from its African origins and claiming it as a western creation.
