I have an ipod. I think that the zune is more customizable when it comes to screens and all those add ons. But the ipod is really easy to use and rarely has problems with it, Zune's tend to freeze and become distorted on the screen. Im going ipod, also because the new touch features wi fi. I like that

So I took my 80GB Zune back, it was too much of a hassle. 3 hours to install the software/updates was rediculous.
And the Zune f'd up all of my tags. I had all of my music ripped and neatly tagged, but the Zune basically disregarded all of my tags and went with w/e information about the album/song/artist that it automatically downloaded off the net. And it had no tag editor to correct the info. Should I go buy the 80GB iPod, or should I go with an Archos? Anyone with any experience with an Archos? |

^what?
You wouldn't get an Ipod because your computer crashed and lost all its music.............(cont.) Ipod has my vote, my 30 gig is well over a year 'n' half and only froze for the first time about a month ago, just had to reset it and works perfectly again. |

why in god's name would you waste your money on an iPod touch? it's flash memory, so youre going to pay out the ass, and get 1/10 the capacity of a similarly price iPod classic. more money for less capacity, its a lose-lose situation.

Actually oojay's comment has made me reconsider my choice, but since I'm not all that computer savvy I really don't understand why flash memory is a bad thing (i don't know what it is, for that matter), Capacity really isn't an issue for me; I don't feel the need to tote around my entire music collection, but reliability is a concern. If anyone has some useful info, help me out.
