I dug up some portraits. The first two are replicas of paintings/photos which is easier but less interesting:

The rest are all self portraits, which was what I mostly did. Drawing your own face is weird and difficult and confronting, but fascinating. I think they're chronological in order.

I made a point of indicating all my birthmarks lol. The reason for the intense stare is just the state of concentration. Another one, in pen this time, which is why it's relatively dark:
