Yes, like MLM said. It's Tori Amos in the 90's.

I'm a bit obsessed with her, but don't you pay any attention to that lol

Hard to argue with, but I really do think that her singing voice and her music has gotten better as she's aged. I can listen to current Tori while ogling 90's Tori. Works for me

Cuthbert 12-13-2017 10:13 AM

She's mid 50s and I think she looks great for her age.

Stunning in her pomp though obviously.

MicShazam 12-13-2017 10:33 AM

I think she has great style and she's still really explosive when she plays live. I don't think she would complain.

I'm a nooooob so not sure if this will show up.

This is a 3d painting the square in the canvas is a clock and a moon will appear at night and a sun during the day.

Since I got that light up pad for tracing, my work has been NSFW as I wanted to appreciate drawing a human body and the only thing I had/liked to use was blue material, and I'm not talking about the colour.

It's on my #instagram though and one of my adult nieces commented, but I 'fessed up to the tracing and that made her lol but they're really good still.

It feels like I should be looking at stipple, but it's much more. Always a pleasure to see new stuff, Po.

I made some new comic pages and then I printed my work and had some T-shirts made, I'm thinking of selling them at gigs and stuff.

Sintownart

Working more like the last one, black and white with any pen true to the original. I was just rushing to do them all in colour for the print. I'm taking a more relaxed approach. I drew about 10 pages in inks while my leg was broke. I want to return to these characters because I created them when I was younger and it's a bit more fun and less stressful than Sci-Fi/Horror/Comedy.

:hphones: Thanks!

Please record a YT video of you drawing one of these.. Such an incredibly organized mess. Not a big fan of the dialogue, but the art is always intriguing. :thumb:

Thanks, man. I actually did that 2 months ago but then deleted them. I feel the same way, it's hard to hit on a winning formula.

Here's a pic of some snazzy vandalism I did back in the late 90's that I kept touching up from time to time until it fell at some point not too long after the pic was taken. This tree was on one of the first disc golf courses in Illinois and beloved by many for it's simple message scribbled onto it. The image was used as the merchandise stamp for the Illinois State Disc Golf Championships in 2003, and since it was my artwork I got a bunch of swag for it. The park has since been renovated and will be re-opened in July with a new layout, and the organizers used the pic again as a call sign for volunteers to come out and pitch in this weekend to clear dead tree's and debris as they push things forward to completion. This little scribble has come a long way.

I see a person in the fetal position with their reflection in a blue mirror.

WWWP 07-19-2018 07:53 PM

yeah pretty much, although imo the mirror is reflecting the blue, not blue itself. but idk. what next?

I enjoyed the color experiments I had to do in my color theory class.

You should check this out:

My professor gave us some really fun assignments that went beyond painting different color squares next to each other, but were still practical in showing off the ideas we were learning.

here's a thing i did for a pal's music project...

MicShazam 12-13-2018 12:15 AM

Don't remember if I've posted this one before? It's basically the main character for that game I'm working on. Although originally I wanted to make a comic. Thing is, i suck at both drawing (doing anything decent takes me foooreeeeveeer) and writing (I'm no Ori), so I wisely ditched the idea and reused the character elsewhere.

^Another great one. Incredibly cool looking textures. Great use of color nuances.
Very dreamlike motif.
Usually pictures that try to look dreamlike don't have that special quality that actual dreams have.
This painting does.

Cool stuff, man! What medium is that?

Anyone heard of the UK artist Simeon Stafford? I just bought a piece of his. It's my avatar (not sure if it is up yet -- just uploaded it).
