I like that a lot, reminds me a lot of some art that a guy I know Russ does. He's an artist/tattoo artist.

What helps you the most is checking some painters, get the movements and their evolution. Cause art is not in the aesthetics, and that's something people tend to forget.

Well creating aesthetically pleasing visuals in itself is an art form.
