This is beautiful work, Po. I love the warm medieval colors and the tin-stamped impressions across the upper third. I'm inclined to purchase the LP just to have your artwork (with the small bonus of hearing those SF concerts).

Did this the other day. I've been really into overt use of texture lately.

Carpe, I like the very fine detail on the wings, face and body, and on the rings behind the head and back. I don't know much about art - so by "overt" texture, is that through use of certain materials or is it an implied texture? Either way - very well done.

Hope you good man!

Thanks to the rest of ye too. Tan toned paper adds a whole new feel to things.

We crossed streams lol. Implied texture I guess? I've been filling in a lot of my drawings with a lot of fine line work where it might not make sense to do so necessarily - and by that I mainly mean the body here, rather than just shading it or leaving it monochrome. It's pretty soothing to do too.

Crossing like streams in the night, lol! Thanks for the explanation, Carpe. Your fine line work is really painstakingly detailed - and I can imagine how that could be a soothing process, IF you have the skill (which you obviously do).
