Icky Vicky is our crime scene dummy... We use her for what's called a body panaorama sequence. Which is close up photos of a body. From head to toe, toe to head, left to right, right to left. And a close up of the face. We use her for blood spatter analsiys class. To scare highschoolers on open house nights, to throw her off the balcony when the nursing students are in the ****ing hallway taking up and wasiting space. You know boring ****

I'm exploring watercolor for the first time. I did this hummingbird today and am pretty happy with the result. Any tips or tricks regarding the medium from the resident MB artists?

i loved watercolors back in art school, my favorite medium next to charcoal.

might seem obvious and it looks like you did but using lighter colors first is usually a must. especially if you're going for accuracy. it'll make things really pop out more. learning how to do what's called a wash if i recall correctly can be really helpful for filling out big areas. that's all i can remember right now. might be preachn to the choir, no idea what your art background is like.

Only critique is that the wing and beak blend together, but I am not artist. I really like the style and all the colors you used.
