I'd imagine with your talent, learning how to paint on anything wouldn't be much of a challenge.

I had no thought process when I did it though, just a "Yeah, this is a surface. I shall paint on it" thing going. I've done all sorts of that type of thing over the years, from pen on skin, to marker on drywall, and I even had a stint where I bought an airbrush and tried my hand at murals. I did the oil on canvas thing in HS which got me a small art scholarship that I never used. I joined the service instead. I drew stuff there too, and they kept finding me out, and making me paint things. I didn't even have my hair buzzed yet, and I was painting insignia on a LT Colonels wall. I got a couple of Army Achievement awards for doing some signs, and such for REFORGER too.

I'm not exactly a professional artist, but I like painting. This may not be as good as the others in this thread, but it's mine. Pencil and watersoluble crayons.

I don't yet know MusicBanter's stand on nudity, so I censored her just in case.

^That's pretty sweet, you should make a broader scene in that style. I'd also recommend oil pastels, I think you'd dig the whole 'smearing' thing. Really fun, and really easy to make look cool.

I don't feel like uploading anything new but did this a few months ago in oil pastel on black canvas paper. Probably my favorite that I've done in that medium.

I dig your style, Crukster. Great subject matter and I'm a fan of the medium, your shading work is superb.

Cheers dude, took me bloody ages haha. To be fair, I did diminish the brightness a bit after scanning it in to bring out the contrast more, as scanners don't take too well to pencil, unfortunately. Pen drawing can look awesome though, so don't disparage yourself (Y) Are any of your pictures up on here? :)
