Any ideas for tattoos that would conceal lots of pink and white scars (but mainly this one really ugly dark pink keloid scar above my knee) all over the sides of one's thighs? I'm very pale and I'd want it to kind of blend in with my skin as much as possible; I don't wanna look like a suicide girl or anything. I was thinking maybe pale colored snakes or ivy or something.

Oh and I love your tattoo WWWP; literary inspired tattoos are great. Wish I still had my enormous old folder of old illuminated manuscript illustrations to get ideas from.
Oh, yes, that would be so very elegant and understated, I like it. I also would kind of like to have a tiny cute snail (holding a leaf umbrella) tattooed somewhere on me. Because reasons. |

For some reason, even though I don't care about tattoos, I've always wanted to get one of Megaman standing, legs apart, gazing intensely ahead and slightly above right, with a Soviet flag clenched in his right hand and planted into the ground. And there would be red and yellow rays behind him like the old Japanese flag. I don't know what made me think of it in the first place or why it's the only tattoo I've ever desired, but there it is.

It's mainly the cost that prevents me from getting tattoos-- that and it would be yet one more part of myself that I'd get sick of looking at. I'm already sick of my face and various freckles so I can't imagine not also getting tired of a tattoo almost immediately. Quote:

I was thinking palm-sized. If I ever get it it's gonna be because I've been thinking about it for half my life and just gotta. The only issue is where to put it. I'm hairy as a bitch to the point that in places it might actually obscure a tattoo.

How about your palm? Then you could halt people with Megaman.

I'm unhireable enough as it is. I don't need a palm tattoo advertising my stupidity.

I feel like I could never get a tattoo. I would have to mean it 100% and feel like it was really important. I'd never get anything that I just thought was sort of cool in the moment. So when I starting thinking of any ideas, I can never find anything I feel sure of. Less than 100% certainty won't cut it for me. Not when it comes to tattoos.
I actually a very serious person in many ways, so I don't feel like a tattoo is anything to play games with. It would have to be something so integral to my worldview and life philosophy that I never want to forget it. A reminder of something of supreme importance to my life. That kind of thing. So far, I haven't found a symbol that really expresses anything too meaningful to me. |
