I just came across this horrible display of my homeland's sports teams and thought I'd share:

I was on the phone when I opened this and all I saw was your name and the tattoo without having read what you wrote.
Needless to say, I thought this was your tattoo.

The second one is a little hard to see. It's an intertwined Alpha and Omega, with the text "Revelation 1:8"

What were the reasons behind you getting those two tattoos?

Any stories?

The grenade is just a grenade. No special symbolism, no military history, no short-fuse temper, I just like it.

The Alpha/Omega corresponds to the bible berse. Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. All who was, all who is, and all who will ever be, the almighty."
It fits my theory of life. The end of one thing is just the beginning of another. With the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet connected, it symbolizes that death (the end) is just another part of life (the beginning).

If I had one, I'd probably want one of those replicas of a famous painting, though I'd probably do a replica of H.R. Giger's Satan:-

I'm completely against the whole getting a tattoo of something I think looks cool. Sure, I think it looks cool now but decades from now I probably won't feel the same way. The tattoos that I want to get all have special meanings/stories behind them.

I really like the Alpha/Omega one though.
