Just wondering if anyone else has ever had a mosquito bite on a tattoo, is there any long term damage or will it go back to the way it was after the bite goes away?

I would assume it's harmless unless tampered with. Zits on the other hand, can mess up ink. Especially if you pop 'em. :p:

I've been wanting to get some new ink lately. Haven't had any in 15 years, and I want to get a few things covered up.

Tattoos aren't really my thing, my ex wanted to get a sleeve and i just laughed at him (he's a cowboy lol) and said go for it but that I wasn't gonna like it. Didn't change a thing, he loves tattoos (no thats not why we broke up!)

If i ever did get a tattoo id get a delicate vine going up the right side of my back and curling around the back of my neck where i could cover it w/ my hair. it would have to be perfect though.

It doesn't make a difference unless you pick at it or something. Things like blemishes and mosquito bites are on the outer layers of skin while the ink sits in lower layers. I've had a few bites occur on mine and they've never caused any long-term damage, even if I've scratched them!

It depends on whether your tat is still healing or not.

When it's fully healed, no, there is no effect. The bite and resulting scab (if not scratched deeply and treated improperly) is superficial.
If your tat is fresh, it's a different story. AKA, still scabbing.

I have a concept for a tattoo in my head.

On my back right shoulder blade, I Want to get a skeleton with a mohawk bodyboarding, dropping into a big wave with palm trees and a sunset in the background. IT will incorporate my love of punk rock, the beach and bodyboarding. Three things I will never lose my lust for even when im 70.

King Koopa playing a twin guitar, riding a surf board, in front of a pot leaf, in front of a cross...

please tell me you have that on your arm.
