None of mine bothered me really at all, the area being tattooed eventually goes numb after a while, thats what I found at least. I have one where a small portion of it is on my collar bone, that hurt pretty good.

My tattoos hurt like hell, but who gives a fuck, really? They're supposed to be painful.

^^^^^Whoah! Time, money, and the right artist. That's all I have to say. Find someone who can pull that off perfectly. Are you thinking of having that wrapped around your arm like a sleeve? That would be amazing.

Geez, tattoo pain really isn't that bad. You guys need to take a leaf out of a woman's pain threshold book :P Haha I kid. Anyway, to pull that off you're definitely going to need to find a good artist who you are confident in. Also a lot of money. You definitely won't get that finished in under one session. But it I bet the end result would be awesome.

I do too, it's such a unique sensation that you really can't experience any other way. That said, I did not enjoy the pain from the ones on my neck and I still need to get one of them filled in...

dude i know this kid who went through juvie and was like a real hardcore gangbanger and shit, took a safety pin and tattoo'd "norteno" on his stomach while locked up. he did it upside down, and it took him like a month straight of just heatin' up pen ink and jabbing himself with the pin but it looks rad.

that's pretty hardcore... what does norteno mean?

i dont think i could do that to myself. hopefully i'll be one of those who enjoys the pain if someone else inflicts it though, fingers crossed
