And it means what?

I'm thinking of getting a new one soon, but you know how fickle money is.

It's a band symbol.

Looks like crop circles JH - which band? V.cool. The ones I can't abide are Chinese characters (one can only hope that what the wearer thinks is 'live life to the max' actually means 'sausages') and the same decorative patterns that everybody else has (typically flames etc). Oh and people's names. For obvious reasons.

For some reason I remember a picture of Cedric Bixler with a sort of illustration of an atom or something, that was cool. And I used to want to get 'I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing' down my forearm (from Manic Street Preachers 'Faster')... Glad I never followed through! Still have the hole from an aborted chin pin...

One of my mates recently got the Generation Terrorists tattoo done on her belly, came out really well, looks exactly like the front cover.
I'm going to have to consider a PJ Harvey tattoo now, i'm going to rummage through her lyrics and artwork later...

Not exactly a cool band but it's Iron Maiden. The band that really got me into music and introduced me to my life long friend. We have known each other 23 years and both had the same tattoo's done on Saturday as he is moving to Germany in 3 weeks and it's the end of an era. People may think that's all a bit soppy but very good friends are hard to come by. We are more like brothers to be honest. Anyhow it's itching like a sonofabitch today!

See, when I asked what it meant I wanted to know what it meant, not what it was ;)

This is a good reason to get a tattoo. It being some band symbol, not so justifying :P

If I was old enough i'd get the Black Flag bars and Morrissey's 'honey' tattoo. And that's a sweet one too btw.
