Wouldn't 'Guitar M.D.' make more sense?

I guess so.
If we're taking words literally, then, there's no such thing as a guitar "M.D." I'm not necessarily trying for accuracy. More a play on words. Rx works. from a site explaining prefixes ..... the prefix ‘Rx’ while writing prescriptions. We tend to overlook that ‘Rx’ actually means recipe. Even more fascinating is when we realize that Rx is derived from the astrological sign for Jupiter, which was once placed on prescriptions to invoke that God’s blessing on the drug to help the patient recover. |
