back to the thread, Bhutto's party may just be exhuming her body, assumably to set to rest claims that she was not in fact shot, merely banged her head quite hard. It seems they will be trying as much as possible to lay at least part of the blame on Musharraf's party for not providing enough security for her. May be a valid point, if not for the fact that she stuck her head out of her BULLET/BOMB PROOF CAR, and had one, unarmed, elderly female bodyguard riding with her.

The last time, when she arrived back in Pakistan after her exile and the consequent bombing that killed scores of her supporters, you'd have thought the security forces would have learned a lesson.
They bitch and moan about her security, but think nothing of the innocents packing the routes.
These people are idiots.
It really didn't take a genius to know her life expectancy was limited under the circumstances.

btw, the latest film I've seen clearly shows a man in the crowd open fire from point blank range.
Gunshots can be heard.
Even her own security says she was shot in the head.
They can't even manage a decent white wash.

Didn't one of her affiliates say she slipped and impaled her head on the leaver to her sunroof, thus causing death? That sounds a little far-fetched.

It does when you consider she was exposed to gunfire and explosions.

Does it even matter to be honest. The fact of the matter somebody charged her popping of shots at her before blowing themselves up is why she's dead, regardless of whether or not she bumped her noggin on the way down. If I recall correctly from one article I read, the surgeon who treated her for the gunshot wounds put in the records that the cause of death was shrapnel to the head.

Personally I don't think it makes much difference to the regions stability. If she wins, there'll be uproar from Musharaffs fans, if she loses there'll be uproar from her fans and this way there'll just be general uproar. End of the day it all works out the same, and last time she was in power she hardly proved the clean slate she's claiming there'll be.
