OK what I hope to do:

1)Start the evening with a couple of lip looseners (a couple of shots of absinthe) and a joint.
2) Meet the lad's in town and proceed to the local lap dancing club.
3) Get a twin dark and white chocolate dance and phone numbers off each.
4) Proceed to the only happening club in town. Full of suitably interesting people, cheap beer, loose women and brilliant music. Fill me boots.
5) Proceed to a happening party. ditto above. See the new year in and then get on the bongs and espresso vodkas.
6) Get some shut eye around 5 am, my appetite sated.

The Reality:

1) Start the evening with a cup of tea and whatever drivel is on TV
2) Get the beers out and listen to some music on headphones to offset whatever miserable crap is happening in soap opera land
3) persuade the missus to have a beer or two, but I can see she is annoyed because I'm getting bleary eyed already.
4) Start on the J.D as that is the only good booze in the house and get amonishing stares from my other half for being a pish head.
5) See the new year in. get a peck on the cheek from my beloved coupled with the words "I'm going to bed"
6) Continue getting drunk and start posting meaningless rubbish on Music banter

There aren't any big parties going on in your town?

New years is always a bust for me I have yet to have one good one that I can remember…..last year some guy tried to pick me up at a 7/11 by blowing me kisses…..and the worst thing I gave him my number….then I ended up watching some Ben Affleck movie in some guys basement

This new years I took my plan into my own hands.
My 4 friends are coming up and staying with me for the night…..I am starting the night of with some pre drinking and watching clone high at my house.
Then I scored tickets to a Police cover band that is playing at this “cougar” pub by my place . I plan to dance it, get really drunk, annoying sing along, and maybe start a conga line..

Afterwards I am heading over to a house party.

I hope none of these plans fall though
