GRRRR!!!!!! Damn Itunes
I just got an Ipod Classic 80 gig and installed itunes. I keep all my music labeled well in a My Music Folder, and play thru WMP 11. I hooked up ipod and tried adding music in to the itunes library, and only like half the music came up. Not only that but its trying to convert ALL the wma which is over half my music. Also the file names are all ****ed up in itunes, which took me weeks to change on wmp and folders view. Is there an easier way??? I just want to put my music on ipod with correct labels...by tomorrow.

There's is always an easier way or way around iTunes. I tend to just say "**** it, iTunes/Apple sucks the big one. I'm getting a better f*ckin' music player." And then proceed to get a Sandisk player.

I'm beginning to think i'm the only person in the world who's never had a single problem ever with I-Tunes.
When I got my last one I stuck 40 gig of music on it , started transferring it.Then I buggered off for an hour , then I came back & it had all done with all the labels correct with no problems at all. |

I haven't had problems other than when I leave the compy idle for awhile and then come back I have to restart iTunes.
but yeah, you're not gonna get it to work by tomorrow. |
The only problems are from people trying to convert files formats. I love the interface.

I really need to convert a few protected iTunes videos. Did a quick Google, and of course about 300 programs popped up on some suspicious sites. I tested a couple of sites and detected MelodyCan.com converter. Their free trial is quite impressive and allows converting video and audio formats both protected and standard ones.

I have had a new problem that just popped up last week after a half year of using Itunes. My wife & I share songs - which makes sense to us but obviously not to Apple. We've both bought a few songs & haven't had any problems sharing them, because we both use one login ID.
But last week Itunes, while uploading new songs to my Ipod announced that it wasn't going to transfer about 60 songs because they are protected. Of course not all the purchased songs were blocked, only a handful - so I have no idea why it didn't want to transfer just those few. I'll probably try to transfer using Ipodcopy, which has been handy. Also - one other problem I've had with Itunes at my work & home computer: it won't upgrade. It is still at 7.3 or something & errors everytime I try to upgrade. |
