I love love love guitar hero and I just rented numero 3 and its not a let down.

I would get Rock Band if the instruments had midi out or some way to hook them up to my pc.

cardboard, they might, i know xbox 360 controller hooks up with pc.

Rock Band sounds like it's gonna be a lot better, especially with all of the downloadable content. But I doubt I'll be getting either of 'em. Went with the last option.

It was one last wednesday night, so I can only assume it's the newest one.

only problem i see with rockband is the damn keys... i prefer guitar hero keys because i can play expert on them cause i know where my fingers are but i always get lost when using hte rockband guitar... i also like the drums... i heard if you can play expert drums you can play real drums? wonder if thats true

I've never ever played either before...I feel like I'm missing out on something great:(
