That usually happens when MJ causes an anxiety attack in anxiety-prone people. Happened to me a lot when I smoked really good weed. It's one of the reasons I stopped doing it altogether. It would just make you feel like you were going insane.

I always drew a parallel between that and bad acid/shroom trips, although they were a lot more intense... but still caused by the same issue, so there was the same tone.

Weird. I can't say I've ever experienced that or known anyone else who has either. I've known a couple people who get mildly paranoid or whatever, but nothing serious like you're describing.

Yea, it would be the difference between mild paranoia and a full-on anxiety attack.

No, nothing as serious as that. It's just that sometimes all of my insecurities and fears bubble up and intensify, especially if I'm smoking alone.

Oh and I didn't get high the first couple of times I smoked either. I think it was on the third try, and that was pretty unmistakable. Btw, no one told me that my heart rate would go up so I was pretty freaked out when it started pounding away, and I just sat on the couch, immobilized, watching a film in a haze. Not a particularly fond memory. :\

I'm another one that didn't get high my first few times smoking at all. I had a few tokes, felt nothing. And you can imagine how fun it is to be the only sober person in a room full of stoned people.

In fact, the first time I actually got high was when I went and knocked on my brother's car window to ask for something while he was hotboxing himself. Ahh, memories...

My first time smoking weed did nothing for me, it really pissed me off. I wasn't inhaling properly and the guys I smoked with didn't show me how to use the carb on the pipe. Sucked too because I chipped in for nearly the entire damn thing and we only bought a gram which lasted that night. The next time we smoked up we used a bong and I got so fucking baked off that thing it was ridiculous.

I really hated that group of people though, they were just idiots when they were high. They would just sit around and laugh and giggle the entire time as I'm trying to figure out what's so funny and why they were laughing so much and I wasn't.

Anyhow that's all in the past and I have since had many great moments while stoned.

I finally managed to get a contact who can get me shrooms so I'm going to do some this weekend and catch up on some music listening.
