I love the unpredictableness of shrooms. Took a normal-sized dose at the weekend and tripped my tits off. I felt like a brain and two eyeballs and no more, just floating around, with zero sensation to my body. Then later I felt so saturated with psychedelics that I felt anything, be it human or animal, would get high just from being close to me. Like psychedelic vapours were seeping out of my every pore. I felt like a living drug. Man, I love shrooms.

I played a game of chess six or seven hours into a mushroom trip last weekend, and it took me over 30 minutes to make my opening move. I was caught up imagining all the opening moves I could make, what my opponents response to each opening might be, and how each scenario would likely unfold 6 or 7 moves in to the game. The board of 64 squares contained infinite possibilities.

So, yeah, all this sh*t was going on in my head but there was no movement on the real board at all. Much like our waking life!

I haven't done shrooms since 2003...a long time. I think it's time I rectified that.

How many caps should I eat? and what other psychedelics should I try? Mescaline? DMT, Salvia? (we talked about some of these)

and are there any others? I stay away from the chemical $hit.

Salvia is something you'll only try once and not like, DMT is a ****ing experience and worth it, and mescaline is like being in a Salvador Dali painting with a soundtrack by Angelo Badalamenti (take that how you will) except you get sick first. You should do acid. If I had to take one drug and only one drug, I'd give up being an alcoholic or stoner and have my time with acid because those experiences have stuck with me the most.
