The Recreational Drug Thread

I need to get a pipe for this stuff I got, smoking it in joints is killing me. I smoked one at 3:30 and I'm still feeling the effects from it.

Now that I'm sure my job is secure and that I'm likely going to keep said job, Lucy is in my not-so-distant future as well. Mary Jane may come into effect this Halloween night!

I've had since March completely drug-free, reflected, and understand that taking substances recreationally has done nothing to impair my world-view, nothing to impair me in any way, aside from the initial intoxication. Marijuana affects me less than alcohol, and LSD and 'shrooms last a mere 48 hours as far as affecting my ability to cope with the outside world and not feel weird.

So happy to have a full-time job, and so happy to be able to enjoy things which are not alcohol or cigarettes.

I haven't smoked weed for about 6 months, and I'm sad. Alcohol sucks man.

I'm bummed out, but I'm glad in some ways that I was able to gain legitimate perspective with nothing tainting my world-view. Turns out that weed did not taint it at all; I'd figured as much, but you know. Needed to know for sure.

Also - anyone who's dosed through the years, I've a query:

Has it gotten more chill through the years, or had bizarre ego-death incidents? I don't really want ego-death again, but I'd like to trip normally again. After that experience, have any of you all had normal trips?

I suspect she is referring to the ID and the Ego? In a roundabout way I think shes asking if people who age with the drug have noticed a difference in bad/good trips.
