Location is key to a good trip. If I were you, I would trip somewhere that you feel comfortable. Your house, a nearby lake, a friends room, any secluded area where you know that there will be no disturbances. Even a knock on the door for room service can lead to a bad trip. You just wan to make sure that there are no interruptions with your trip, don't do anything that can get you in trouble with the hotel, or someone in the other rooms complaining about noise or something and having to deal with a staff member while tripping. I'm assuming at least one of you will not be tripping? This is key, have someone who is there that makes sir you don't do anything that can be dangerous to yourself or others. Preparation is key to a good shroom trip, I meditated the day before my second trip, I ate the shrooms on an empty stomach (they taste like **** but chew them for as long as you can), and smoked some bud to ease the nausea. Another tip, don't fight the trip, just go with the flow. If you start feeling bad, remind yourself that you will come down in a couple of hours. Be careful with what music you choose as well, if it's intense enough the music can alter your trip into the good or the bad.
One of the main things though, if when you are about to eat that shroom, you begin to have second thoughts, don't do it, once you are in you are in.
Enjoy and safe tripping.
If all goes planned I should be tripping on Friday...don't let me down shady dealer!!!

Yes we have a trip sitter.

I feel safe at the hotel, like I said, it's a big place, it's not the type of hotel where they come in to tuck you in before you go to bed lol. I definately don't want to trip outdoors because I generally feel a lot more comfortable inside. If we can trip at mine or a friend's house that would be great, but Idk man, I feel like the hotel is our next safest bet. I think we'll be okay as long as we put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, and aren't too noisy. And maybe this is me being naive, but I truly feel mentally ready to trip. We are going to take all the necessary precautions, and I'm doing it with people I feel truly comfortable with.

If you feel mentally ready, then you're ready.
The whole shit about "preparation" is mostly just a mental exercise. It's a process that certain people undertake in order to convince themselves that they're not going to freak out. It's usually the ones who worry about freaking out that actually freak out, so people that have that problem (or believe they would have that problem) help themselves by tricking themselves into not having that problem. It's really not as confusing as it sounds.
Although I do have to say, depending on what you imagine the intensity of the effects to be, you may or may not be surprised.
All you need to know is yes, it's supposed to be that intense.
Believe me, I've taken RIDICULOUS amounts of shrooms at once. I don't think it's possible to overdose. And I have never gone crazy.

There are only a few things you should take into account, regardless of whether you're "mentally prepared" or not.

1. Environment.
In a general sense, I mean; "where you're going to be tripping". But more applies to this. For one, yea, don't trip where you're going to be interrupted by sober people who look down on drug use. That's a party stopper. For two, trip somewhere where you're going to have something to do or look at or talk about. For three, trip with people you like and are comfortable with.

2. Introspection.
If you find yourself overly thinking about... yourself... stop. Don't be afraid of it, and certainly don't feel like this is a shark swimming near you at all times, but just get up as easy as you please and walk around and get more involved with what's going on. Be social. Take yourself out of the equation and just let yourself experience the trip WITH your friends. This shouldn't be hard at all during your first few trips, as everything will be new and catchy.

3. Have fun.
Smile. Be joyous. TAKE TURNS READING EACH OTHERS' MINDS!!!! Bring drawing paper and draw what you see when you close your eyes. Listen to music. BRING THINGS THAT GLOW IN THE DARK. Turn off lights and watch the tracers. Talk about things you wonder about. Watch a short cartoon on a small tv. Pee in toilet, and watch the color change... alone, and not with buddies. Unless that's your thing. WRITE THOUGHTS DOWN! They are amazingly hilarious and/or confusing to read when you're sober again.

Ultimately, just plan to have a fun experience. If you treat tripping like you're getting yourself ready for heart surgery, bad things are bound to happen. And don't believe 90 percent of the shit you hear about tripping until you've tripped yourself, because everyone's different.

GO HAVE FUN!
