I smoke mucho buddo these days. Im an engineer so its pretty much real awesome. I craft all sorts of different devices. All the guys I work with are salty old bastards in there mid to late 40's, and they smoke more than I do. Our company doesn't drug test because it is ran by Indians...and they like the peace pipe.

So was I. We had a Superbowl party last year and all the oldies were busting out steam rollers and pipes and such.

Im an electrician/electrical engineer, but im doing hotel engineering right now. Its a pretty general trade involving a bit of electrical work, a bit of AutoCadd and drafting, some HVAC, and alot of maintanence.

Ya, and like you I quit smoking for a couple months, but they dont drug test, so it was sweet, but I was pretty mad I quit smoking for no reason.

I knew my engineering consulting firm had a no test policy (or reserve the right, but dont), and is one of the selling points to keep me from going to the majors. Ultimately long term incentives are what drew me in, but this was a very strong sell point... even if they didnt know it

It is all so irrelevant. Drug policies are absurd; if you get your work done, let it be. I never understood how companies can sponsor happy hours, yet enforce strict drug testing policies. Peoples personal lives should be left alone unless it affects their ability on the job.
