A couple weekends ago I had a pretty phat dose of lsd, 200 ug or so. It was just my third time doing it

The effects during the trip were remarkably intense but in a fun way. I was just with two close friends and we just sat around and basically laughed our asses off at nothing for like 6 straight hours.

But more importantly the way I’ve felt since is pretty amazing. I had been having lingering anxiety on a variety of topics leading up to the trip and it’s all pretty much gone. I’ve felt all around focused and clear and in an elevated mood pretty much the entire two weeks since. It’s hard to describe how weird it is to suddenly feel like all the **** you felt was going wrong in your head were instantly cured. I think the potential for psychedelic drugs to be used therapeutically is immense, hopefully we as a society can get to that point. I think it could help a lot of people. Anecdotally I know many people who have had similar experiences with it and what little research is out there on stuff like microdosing all sound extremely promising

That's awesome. I've had similar experiences when I was younger. Window Pane, Blotter, 4-Way Goofy... all kinds. I used to trip a lot with my brother, and we'd crack each other up over the stupidest ****. The stigma behind it would always be an underlying issue with me though, and that always lingered in a negative way. Removing that stigma would be very beneficial in a controlled setting. These days, being a bit older and with a bit less youthful vigor and all that, I'd be a little apprehensive about freaking myself out thinking how time has gone by so fast and how much closer I am to death. I'd be my own worst buzzkill nightmare, and I normally don't even need psychedelics to get to that point. It would likely take me at least a month to recover cognitively too.

Microdosing with LSD had been my preferred drug way back when (more than 10 years ago) when I used to get high. I used to tell everyone how wonderful it was and they all looked at me like I was insane to want to "trip" on acid, even though I explained it's nothing like that, it's basically like being high on pot, but it lasts longer and has NO negative side effects (like pot had for me, in the sense that I had plenty of bad trips on pot as it always seemed to make me psychologically exposed). Some have tried it and were equally enthusiastic. I haven't tried it since (I have some arrhythmia issues I'm afraid tripping for 6 hours might exacerbate, although everyone says that's not how LSD works, I'm just too chicken to risk it), but maintain that some of the happiest time of my life was when I was taking acid. Music sounded heavenly, and the colours and everything...I remember waving a glow stick with my friends for like an hour and just being totally amazed. Fun times...

I don't remember any positive long term effects though.

I started microdosing LSD a few months ago, just like 12-25ug. Have since graduated to taking 75-100ug. It's not a full on trip for me, but it definitely potentiates my weed a lotta bit. Also get some visuals and the typical psychedelic headspace shifting vibes.

A few years ago I dabbled with microing LSD and shrooms but took a big break since. I opted for LSD now just because dosing / prep is about 10x easier.
