I really love the closed eye visuals from high doses of DXM. Pretty much ineffable. Like, you don't really "see" too much like fractals and colorful patterns as with psychedelics, more of a mind's eye thing. Instead of images forming, it takes the darkness behind your eyelids and morphs it into these vast dark landscapes, and you have this strong feeling of being there, not physically though
It's like dreams you have that are more or less scenes completely separate from yourself, and you take the role of observer rather than actor. Really indescribable though.
