Thanks for the info, I might look into getting a decent setup down the line, but it looks like I'd end up spending at least $400-500 to get a vacuum pump setup.

I need a new grinder so badly. My existing one is a cheap Piranha metal one that gets jammed up after 2-3 vape sessions (the pieces aren't all that flush).

Does anyone here have a grinder they love for vaping?

Just made my first proper batch of qwiso, I'm excited. I need to get around to buying that oil rig.

7.14g Sour Diesel broken by hand / 20s wash (just jiggling jar to mix) / 30-40s second wash (shaking sealed jar as hard as I could). I froze the jar/weed beforehand. I now have two separate dishes sitting in warm water baths in good ventilation. I'm gonna evap the weed / iso mix and soiled filters for some green dragon later on too.

I was aiming for really high quality stuff from the first wash. Time shall tell...

I would take pics of the finished product if I had a decent camera...

I think I'd try LSD mainly for it's connection to the hippie culture. Just to imagine how it felt, maybe listen to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. ;)

I'm looking to get a starter oil rig finally and I have my mind made up about a few things:

Good price/quality ratio on everything

Domeless Nail

Small / Med Bubbler setup

I need domeless nail (highly ed?), torch and dabber suggestions in addition to a small bubbler (toro looks nice, just too expensive).

Any help would be much appreciated. I would prefer to spend about $250 or less on everything, but I could throw a bit more at it if it's worth it.

My mate has bought a vaporiser, I can't wait to use that ****.

Has anyone else had problems with their parents and smoking? My mum just told me she's disappointed in me because of my smoking and that she expected more from me and all that. She's saying that she can't even have a conversation with me anymore because of my moods and attitude when I feel like I've been getting on with her more in the past two months than I have in the past 2 years when I began smoking. My life has actually taken more direction and shape since I began smokin, I got into college and I finally know what I want to do for a living and I'm well on my way to achieving this... Yeah I'm moody but what 21yr old girl at 7am isn't? And I've always had an attitude and been a bit cheeky. I'm just quite hurt that she feels disappointed in me. I can understand her not liking it but to say that left me feeling pretty crappy as if I was some sort of reprobate stoner.

I scraped up one of my dishes of QWISO and this stuff looks great. Amber brown shatter, and this was from my rough 2nd wash. I think I will reheat and try to whip it into a better consistency, cuz the shatter is a real pain to deal with. My first wash got dusty so I had to dilute and refilter it today, that stuff should be pristine.

I really hope I don't have a massive preference for BHO over QWISO, because I don't really want to buy a few hundred in gear to make my own. I just grabbed some Blue Dream wax today for a comparison.
