I drive with an Innova Starfire with Star plastic and mid/putt with a 10 year old Roc.
|
Ate about 3g of shrooms at around 5pm. Still feel a little wonky, but definitely not tripping hard anymore. A friend of mine chickened out on the shrooming for some reason or other - I may have frightened him too much by telling him that there was a 99% chance he was going to feel nauseous, and a 25-30% chance he'd puke - so he made us go out to some bars.
Met up with a girl with whom I have some weird history; hooked up with her when she was dating the girl I was actually interested in - and she and I made out hardcore at the bar. The perk was that I was starting to come down, and wanted to drink, and one of her best friends owns the bar - which meant free Grateful Dead fishbowls. Edit: A Grateful Dead, for those of you who've yet to sample its glory, is very deceptively potent, as it's quite tasty. It consists of: 1 part vodka 1 part light rum 1 part gin 1 part tequila 1 part raspberry liqueur |
I had no idea you were into the ladies. What a great story to find out to, though! Congratulations on the, what appears to me as a, successful day!

I used to be all about Valkyries and Beasts but I have always came back to Starfires.
|
I've only been playing for a little less than two years, so I'm still figuring out what discs I like. I like my Valkyrie usually, but I have to watch it or it'll turn over to the right too much (I'm right handed). The Wraith doesn't have the same problem, cause it's heavier so it doesn't quite have the same potential. And the Wolf just flies totally straight if I throw it just right. I have to get a better hang of it though. I play a heavily wooded course, and that Wolf is becoming my go too disc when I can't afford to have any wiggle room.
|
In a wooded area? I bet that Wolf is your best friend. I've been throwing for close to five years now and I have noticed that I always come back to my Starfire (WITH Star plastic) and my Roc. Those two discs have never failed me. Sidenote: I throw sidearm.

September 8-11, I'm going to Terrapin Hill Harvest Festival.
Bunch of bluegrass, jambands and the like, drum circles, yoga, hooping, interpretative dance, poetry/spoken word readings, poi and fire dancing performances, glass-blowing demonstrations, tie dye workshops - oh, yeah, and it tends to be heavy in psychedelics. ;) I'm trying to conserve my money for the festival, but it's so tempting to buy more mushrooms right now... |
Since moving into a house with friends six months ago I've kind of caned it on the drugs front, to the point where I've actually decided I don't want to do them ever again. Around the social circles where I live, Ketamine is widely available, and it's just ****ed my brain, I've K-holed a couple of times on the stuff and it's left me feeling increasingly anxious, and I don't think I can handle another come down... misery doesn't even cover it.
I also had a terrible experience on mushrooms the other week, all because of my ****ing mate, whilst my weed consumption has left me feeling distinctly disconnected for long periods after the high. I'm done with it all, it isn't fun any more. |

Not to mention the fact that it's on a marsh. Tramping through a marsh trying not to loose your shoes while trying to find a disc hidden in chest high grass ****ing sucks. |
