Duely noted. I'm not seeking attention for my condition, but I guess I misunderstood the post as saying that ALL drugs were bad (legal, prescription, illicit, etc.)

I've got a couple of close friends who have invited me to do shrooms. We would be getting them from my friends cousin who grows them. I am on an anti anxiety medicine, I think it is an SSRI. do you guys think its a good idea to do them?

We would be in a pretty good environment to do them. I smoke weed and drink while still taking my anti anxiety drug regularly and have never had any problems or any anxiety attacks.

Apparently SSRI's heighten/make the effects of psilocybin (magic mushrooms)

I would be wary of taking an SSRI with any psychadelic or disassociative (basically anything that messes with your serotonin levels). Seretonin Syndrome (poisoning) is no joke. While it may intensify the high, your come down will be horrible, and could lead to permanent depression or mood changes. I would suggest replacing the SSRI with some natural vitamin B6, B12, or some 5-htp if you want to strengthen the high.

I've heard that shrooms + SSRIs can lead to seizures in the worst case scenario. Since the shrooms could possibly counteract what the SSRIs are trying to do, you might have a bad trip.

I have done this before. I'm no longer on SSRIs, but I'd have to say that it does prolong the effects. Up to two days, in fact, of open-eye visuals, in my experience. Not necessarily something I'd recommend to the normal person.

I feel like for the most part, I'm just really lucky. The things I do are probably to be considered a cautionary tale, for the most part. I've seen people get really bad off an any manner of drugs:

Opiates
Speed
Euphorics
Psychedelics
Etc.

I've even known a guy whose schizophrenia was horribly exacerbated by psychedelic use, and who had to drop out of college to go back to his home in Mexico.

Long story short: Really check out all possible side effects before you do anything.

What is the deal with morning glory seeds? I remember hearing something about them having psychedelic properties. Anyone know more about this?

They do, actually - I think the psychoactive chemical in them is called LSA.

Unfortunately, you really need to prepare them, or you risk serious stomach issues + puking them up and not getting the effects.

Basically, it felt to me like acid minus the LSD body buzz. The visuals also weren't as intense in my experience.

I basically prepared, mashed and had about 225 seeds. I think that's about two and a quarter packages, at least where I'm from.

You also would want the Heavenly Blue Burpee seeds, from what I've heard. Those are what I used, and according to most accounts, are the best.

Why mess with that when you could chug some oj or take some vitamin C tablets to get more intense visuals?
