Would you trip in your dreams? It would be scary having this weird dream, only to wake up and finding yourself experiencing the same things in that dream, thus questioning if you are awake or not. :eek:

The only time I forgot I was tripping was one occasion when some buddies and I had a massive find when we went shrooming, and my logic told me that since we had so many shrooms, I should eat a proportionately large amount. (12-13 large caps, minus stems... and when I say large, the caps were no less than 3-1/2 to 4 inches across)

During the trip, I remembered patches... when I came down, I had temporary amnesia. Of everything, including my own name.

That's actually part of the trip I had that I posted about above. At one point when I was semi-lucid, I remember laying on the carpet and trying to sleep it off, and obviously never fell asleep... but I got up at one point and thought I was having a lucid dream. This led to potentially destructive behavior, had my friends not been there to stop me from "doing anything I wanted, because of no fear of repercussions".

That was a special case though. I ate far, far too many shrooms. Never got that bad off on acid though.

That sounds like quite an experience, that must have been weird not even knowing anything, including your own damn name! Although it does sound amazing that it could have such a strong effect. As for the lucid dream part, I'm assuming that's where all the "I might be able to fly" thing comes in, that's the real sketchy part about it.

Yea, it was a pretty weird feeling. I mean, I knew fundamental things like I was in a house/apartment/living area and there were people around me, how to walk and talk and all that.. I just didn't know who the people were, who I was, and where I was, in terms of a personal connection and knowledge of the place and people. It was ego death, essentially. For about 20 minutes or so, my existence as an individual was completely fresh from the bakery.

It wasn't fun.



Yea, thankfully we lived on the bottom floor of the apartment. The worst thing I did was walk outside (in the rain, and in socks) and get in an unlocked car (which happened to be a friend's, thankfully) and try to drive off. (didn't have keys in the ignition, thankfully). I got angry because "the lucid dream wasn't working... I should be able to start the car by will".

Punched some friends in the face too. Luckily, my arms were like rubber and I didn't inflict any damage.

:laughing: I know I would be laughing my ass off afterwards, it's always best to have sitters that understand what you are going through, I couldn't imagine how scared someone would be if they got into a physical fight on LSD.

The driving part made me laugh... kind of reminded me of this video for some reason...
