I figured people trying bud for the first time on this site would be attracted to the music aspect. First time I got majorly baked my friend put on some Mew with his surround sound...I was blown the **** away. From then on I was big fan of the herb.

I also don't enjoy music any less sober than while high. In fact, I notice more subtleties in music while sober than before I smoked because I know what it would sound like while high. It has only enhanced my love of music. I also will take a well loved album that I've never listened to high and smoke to it to see if I can discover anything else deeper in the music. It's good stuff.

I love listening to music while high. I was a fan of Pink Floyd, but only Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, and some stuff from the Wall. I was high and decided listen to some new Floyd material, Obscurred By Clouds is amazing. It's like it was made to listen to while you are high! 10 Ft Ganja Plant has slowly become one of my favorite artists, mainly because I listen to them a lot when I'm high. Music to me sounds a lot different to me when I'm high, I'm able to just black out everything else, and focus just on the sounds, which Is why I like Pink Floyd so much, there is just a lot going on and it's fun to listen to.

I've always thought Obscured by Clouds was a bit underrated.
I can't deny that I do enjoy music more after a couple of beers. I usually drink two or three when I set out to get to know new music. Problem is... Well I don't like it as much the next day :D

Drinking and music in my opinion have nothing to offer to each other, other than a bunch of Rednecks at metal concerts who get drunk just to mosh with a bunch of teenagers. *******s.

...and it also causes some ****ty karaoke.

Yeah. Well I sit at home, have a beer and enjoy my music.
There's a difference between having a beer and getting really drunk :).

Shitty karaoke is an art form in and of itself.

Sober karaoke or karaoke where everyone else but you is drunk is pretty lame but I gotta say, drunken karaoke is pretty fun.

I disagree. I love getting wrecked and singing along to some great songs with my buddies.

For the most part, I think every drug aside from stimulants, enhances my musical experience. Especially research chems, nothing is better than feeling the song being played from your cerebellum on down your spine.

There's a gay karaoke bar down the street from my apartment, it's pretty entertaining to say the least.
